Lucky enough to have a reign e+0 and I've come from a 2018 kenevo and it's night and day difference bloody love it..Doing the Boltby bash in a couple of weeks it'll be a proper weapon for it.. 🤘🤘
@@herbertmichaels2841No the kenevo is brose which has 90nm of torque where as the giant has a Yamaha which is 85nm both are good,I'm liking the Yamaha more due to the puncheness whereas the brose is power..
same here...such amazing bang for the buck.. I got the E+ EX...using it as my gravel/road machine...the plan is to eventually get the Reign with 800wh batt. to be able to swap batteries.. :)

We're seriously impressed with the updates to this version of the motor. Super smooth and so much smaller than the previous ones. The increased clearance is really noticeable.
We’re about your height and ride mediums. It’s always difficult to size when you’re bang in the middle of a chart. We’d recommend you try to get to a local dealer to try one for size.
@@TheContourCollective my local dealer sells Giant but never has demos unfortunately. I Have the 2022 Trance and it’s a Large. It’s nice and stable but feels big on tight corners. The bike I had before it was the Giant Stance and it was a medium but that felt short and I always felt like I was going over the bars.
@@MarionvillemodelsMultirotors I wouln't compare to your old Stance. Hopefully even a sit on a bike will help should a demo not be available. Good luck!
Hey, what size your bike and what is your height and inseam? I have the exact same model in size M and am thinking it's a bit short for me at 179cm and 83cm inseam.
Hey Aleš, I’ve no idea my inseam, but I’m 177cm and a 50mm stem and 750mm handlebars and the bike fits great I reckon. Hope that helps, Cheers - Christo
Chris is 173cm and on the Medium. You're probably right between sizes but a Large might suit you better. Hope that helps a little. Sizing is super difficult sometimes. Good luck!
They all "rip " . there is at least a dozen or more top end e bikes that perform almost identical to one another . what it really comes down too is aesthetics as in shape color and the name written on the down tube

How does the yamaha stack up to kenevo? Isnt that one a bosch?

Shorter crank arms work really well magic Mary super gravity will have you smashing those climbed. 35 mm stem, happy day’s
Short stem, PowerAssist and a little luck 😆
Fantastic..
Hope you found this useful
The Yamaha bikes are some of the more impressive feeling Ebikes I've ridden

Was it your self I was taking to at Comrie on Sunday.
Not this Sunday. What a spot to ride though.
@@TheContourCollective amazing place. I’m looking at the Rein just now but my height falls between medium and large as I’m 5’10. What do your think.

@@TheContourCollective Is it also size M?
Yes, sorry. It’s a size medium we have.
@@aleszverca Yes, this is size M. Chris is 173cm.
Which size would you suggest for a 179 cm tall guy with "rather long legs" (84 cm crotch)? I mainly ride tight and technical rocky trails.

I’m around a similar height but prefer to size up
The only thing that puts me off these bikes is the undisclosed IP rating.
Hey, not sure what it is ourselves, but it’s seen plenty of pressure washes and wet rides and it’s still running no issues 👌
@@TheContourCollective that's a good sign, but for how long?
@@HaggisPower We've been riding the bike now for over 6 months and it's been faultless.

Why pressure wash? I wipe mine down with a warm soapy rag thats been squeezed out . then wipe away soap with a damp rag

Giant seem to be much more discreet now with putting their name on the frame
Mk3 motor?
Mark 2 unless we’ve missed a mark. It’s the latest Yamaha and a big improvement over the 2021 motor.
