My friend actually picked one up on the recommendation of another CZcamsr, but after setup and attempting to print one of the provided test files, it gave us nothing... Not sure what went wrong but part of the experience I guess... I still might get one for myself!

    I find that leveling in the vat, not on paper, is better with my printers. I have two tank body printers, a phrozen sonic 4k (original in tank body, before they made the consumer ones) and a epax tank printer (lol, before they also joined in the consumer ones). Those consumer printers came out right after I invested way too much in the ones I have. They are nicer, but they are overkill for what I need. I wish I had waited just a little longer, so many nice printers are out now.

    Would suggest remove supports before curing as I cured with supports and it destroyed the print removing supports and I use water washable resin which costs me around £22 for 1kg less toxic less fumes and easier to wash with water that works out cheaper than buying isopropyl

    You should have the cover off it as little asp possible. This resin is highly toxic. All the particles you would be breathing in. Even without the printer working. All printers show the models you’ve selected. Too smaller build area and low quality. It’s an okay starter from what I’ve seen. Remove off the bed before cleaning. Remove supports before you cure. Warm water will be your friend. Remember you need to check with local authorities how to get rib of IPA. Water was resin. You CANNOT just flush it down the sink! Miss information. Nothing about safety. Wayne be careful

    • @WorldofWayneUK
      @WorldofWayneUK  Před 11 měsíci

      I’m doing a second video on that. I wouldn’t recommend taking off supports before curing. It destroys the print at the cut line. Also I keep on the bed while cleaning so I’m not in contact with the isopropyl but I guess we all do it different ways

      I’ve been there too
      You learn and understand so much as you go
      Removing supports before curing minimises the work load needed to clean a print
      In the supports you can also adjust the penetration side of the tip angles etc
      All helps not forgetting the thickness of the support
      Auto generated are okay and can be useful, learning how and where they are needed is even better
      Also then lowers the use of then, the amount of wasted resin work loads all round.
      Allow your model to drip for a bit in the vat.
      Tilt the build plate after printing and leave inside.
      Pre wash in ipa. Then move to the main ipa wash.
