From a purely workplace perspective, Zane was wrong. You cant go tell someone 'your ambitions will never come true here' and expect them to fall in line quietly. Also, because Alex isnt a newbie. He's a senior partner with decades of experience
Yeah, to be honest Zane was often just overstepping the boundries.
He was full of himself and then acted as if everything was fine "because it's reality" (as seen by his eyes).
Ya, the tyrant dream crushing antic doesn't usually keep a lot of people around for long. Especially when they can easily look somewhere else and see they can fufill their dream with another place.
I think the issue Zane has is that when the client approaches the firm they gotta trust that it'll at least have discretion and since they are the main one they are the ones sought make the unwinnable cases, or very big cases that must be won.
How are these clients going to trust Zane Specter Litt will help them and not hinder them instead if they'd done it before?
