I honestly love this bike as an entry to electric. Took 4 charges to condition my battery and noticed a major distance change - I was only able to get 10 miles tops riding. I pushed mine to 19 miles, and the battery battery was nearly depleted.
I would definitely recommend a handlebar upgrade, different pedals and a riser.

I have the blue model and I have the 6km button
There might have been different models released 🤔 . I liked the blue one better. I felt it was faster , and the safety features made the bike slow down to 17mph while the green one slows down to 10mph. Thanks for sharing that, very interesting detail 👌
@@mauricio9226 hey Mauricio, could you do me a favour and look at your rear assembly and let me know if the lock washers are positioned on the inside of the frame on each side…..on the cassette side of my bike it’s on the outside, I think it may be incorrect
Nevermind I found my answer….it was incorrectly assembled….its a spacer and they installed it backwards

Pretty much when fully charge the bike reaches 19mph and slows down to 10mph but it was good that the battery wasn't fully charge because I was able to show that the bike only reaches 18mph on the max setting which doesn't activate the safety features therefore the bike will not slow down to 10mph. Of course, as the battery drains, the speed on the max setting will continue decreasing.
Can i ask whats the power lights on the display?
It indicates how much battery you have. And also when you pedal it shows you how much power it is being used.
Why would a 6 foot tall person buy a 26" frame?
To me, the size is just fine and works for my needs.
tires are 26" frame is prob a 17"top tube
Does it have a trigger throttle or do you have to fully pedal?

No. And there is no way to put one on the stock ESC. If you want a throttle you need to buy about 70$ of parts for a new ESC, Throttle, and 1 to sensor/3 faze motor cable extender. Plus likely new battery ends since you'll probably need to switch out the stock banana plugs the stock comes with to the normal ESC. + you might also need to buy a small bag for the new ESC to fit into since you won't be able to fit the new throttle ability ESC in the bike's frame housing as the stock is in.
Plus you need to have some DIY mind set to do this since it's not that simple. You need to basically remove the underplate the cable goes from under the battery seat tray and then remove the top and bottom plastic frame seats. Top will have the ESC shoved in and bottom will have the key and battery cables.
Might also need to DIY some cables for extending the standard handbreak 2 pin cable connectors to fit to the new location of the new ESC that you'll be using.
Hope this helps. I'm the first one to turn the Hyper E-Ride into a monster performance. Mine currently has dual hubs and dual batteries with Dual throttle controls to both hub motors of their own throttle systems. Plus it hauls a trailer and has tons of cargo.

Hello, welcome to ebikes. They are so fun, you won't go back to regular ones anymore . As for your question, according to hyper bicycle, this bicycle is not waterproof. May be some light water resistant, yes, I would say. The other day, the bike got drenched, but I dried it right away and is completely fine. But I would avoid exposing to rain.

The same applies if you have the battery or not. There are electronic componets, that can get damaged
