I love this! If I were to use wool and the hook is a 4 mm would the size be drastically different in size?

You would end up with a smaller stocking with thinner yarn and a 4mm hook. I unfortunately don’t know what the exact measurements of the finished product with that hook would be, but it’s likely to be several inches shorter and somewhere around an inch narrower if I gave it a guess.

I just cannot find the V you speak of. Idk if I just crochet too tight or what. I gave up. Doing my best to follow using blo because I just cannot do the V thing.
I had this problem too. I had to force myself not to crochet tight. The V is hard on the toe part, it gets easier on the body. Second time through was much better for me. Almost done with my 2nd stocking.
