Interesting twist how the reason the guy was screaming "Get Out" wasn't to threaten the main character but actually to warn him because the real guy woke up for a moment.

When the officer asks Chris to see his license and Rose intervenes, she really does it because she doesn’t want any record of Chris in the police file so when she tried to kill him, there wouldn’t be any evidence of him in the police’s disposal
But there already wouldnt be because chris' body would still be walking around with someone else in it
I love how the movie is called Get Out and Chris actually picks up on the red flags all around him that clearly say "Get the hell out!", although it takes him little bit to act on those signs

Good call on Jordan for giving us a win there. Sometimes a bleak ending is the nice cherry on top, but seeing someone go through all of this and make it out just leaves you feeling good.

Rewatching this movie is so angering. You see all of the thing they're were throwing in your face but you still never saw the twist coming. Like the fact that Rose wanted him to stop smoking because she wants to keep his body healthy, Rose defends Chris against the cop because she doesnt want a paper trail of him going to that house, Georgina was standing in the window because she was admiring her new body, Rose's dad say they wanted to keep "a piece" of their parents with them, there are so many details that you never noticed and it just shows how brilliant Jordan Peele is.
you also realize that the reason logan was flirting with that older woman was because the person occupying andre’s body was an older man

One really cool thing that is NEVER mentioned is the detail of the plushie by their bedside. It stays flipped around when chris wakes up which immediately lets you know the night’s events were 100% real.

Man. As a young white person, this movie opened my eyes to a couple of things. Because of that, it’s a bit of a double edged sword. I’m aware of the life I’ve lived, and how that bubble has protected me from a lot of hard truths. But it also sent me into a bit of a spiral (definitely not helped by the internet) about whether I could even BE a good person. If no matter what I do I’ll still ruin the lives of those around me. But in the end, this movie made me TRULY experience empathy. To strive to not be a perfect example of what a modern American can be, or to constantly whip myself for something I wasn’t even aware of- Now my goal is to be patient with the people around me. To be conscious of the lives and experiences of people around me. My goal is to be kind

I love this movie because it manages to be brilliantly unnerving without kills, violence, or weapons for so long. Every actor gives an unsettling performance worthy of Annie Wilkes, especially the African-American cast! That shot of Daniel Kaluuya's tear soaked expression is so iconic because it's such a difficult thing for an actor to pull off. He's producing real tears, not movie tears, in abundance, without sobbing or any of the buildup you usually need.
And when the movie does bring in the blood & the kills, it's so satisfying to watch. Bocci ball *TO THE SKULL* on Jeremy the prick, swatting Missy's teacup, death by deer, and then outsmarting Jeremy and shit-kicking him to death.
There are reasons why people eat cereal without milk:
1. Lactose intolerant
2. Ran out of milk
3. Don’t like the cereal getting soggy
4. The cereal for some reason tastes better without milk
5. The milk sometimes tastes and smells bad even if it doesn’t expire for a long time
