Oh yes I agree with the best sounding part.. The sound in the distance is great too. Think I'd rather pick a Tuono then tho, not for the looks, but position & handlebar.

This is not the best sounding bike, although it does sound very good but the R1 sounds better. And in stock form it’s very quiet, my friend has this exact bike. Can’t hear it at all when riding on the freeway. The R1 has a meaner and deeper growl to it, and also a smoother growl.

@@angelozoulali3631 I compared it to the R1 because that’s what everyone compares it to and saying they sound similar. U notice I said nothing else about the other in-line 4’s. I was comparing the sound of the bike my guy. Of course I kno the difference between the 2. Read everything and u would’ve saw exactly what I was talking about

@@M16xDr0pSh0tz No it sounds really good it's even more brutal in sound than inline4 Even the v4 also produces more power, the roar of the v4 is better than the slightly shrill inline 4.

Sc project exhaust period is the best sounding of all exhaust. Is basically a slip-on that sounds cat less . I have sc project on cbr1000rr 2018 and people be like what is that coming down the street
it sounds catless on the aprilia because it is, the cat comes off with the stock exhaust can not the headers
The only sound that i could compare that is that to r1 Crossplane engine..Pretty epic though!

A SC project Crossplane definitely sound better than the V4, even though It got the idea from the V4 engines definitely sounds better

One of these rode past my school the other day, it was my 1st time seeing one so I got so excited but had to hold it in😂 It sounded so cool even tho it was going to slow
I bought mine in 2011 (RSV4 SE Biaggi Edition = best looking one in MHO) and w the Austin Racing exhaust, after all this years riding it on and off track still get excited like a little boy when I listen to this awesome sound. It’s like a symphony !!

Im going to have to buy one. I learned, years ago how to ride on an Aprilia 500cc race bike, then got into Suzuki. Gave up riding when my daughter was born... This sound literally gave me goosebumps. Best sounding Superbike on the market. Period.

I don't blame ya for not doing a full system.
I did a full Akra and it was a PITA 8 to 10 hour job. As bad as a Duc Street Fighter.
You have to remove the rear shock and move the swing arm back a couple of inches
to get the rear headers connected and that's just 1 item.
and for a full system you need a remap too... Not worth it for the street.
@@AndrasMihalyi still need a remap for the slip on since it deletes the cat which makes a bigger difference than putting a full exhaust on it. I’m sure it’s the same headers as the previous gen which were made by akra and the only difference in getting the full akra was you were getting titanium vs stainless. The design and size was the same already
@@blt198998 ah ok, I didn't know that the cat is located there on the Aprilia... On my 2007 1000RR the cat remained in place after installing a slip on.
These days, the stock headers are usually amazing quality. It is the cat that is restricting the exhaust flow. If you can get a "half system" like this, that eliminates the cat, it is just as good as a "full system" in many cases. The tune is what can really help make a difference in performance at that point. We certainly agree...the sound is intoxicating!

Yea the SC exhaust sounds pretty good on rsv4, it is just too much noise imo. But that is a killer bike, love what they did with the rsv4.
My buddy has the full Akropovic Ti System on his and every time he pulls up to the spot it sounds perfect

The Aprilia sounds amazing, and the sound quality of the video is ridiculous with my Sony headphones. What kind of equipment did you use to record and process the audio. For better or worse, I'm a Honda guy, but this video had me revaluating the 06' SC51s as a potential stable mate to my 1KRR.

I tought when i heard R1 in person and this thru video that R1 does sound a bit better , but after hearing RSV4 with same SC exhaust in person, guys RSV4 sounds like its from a diffrent planet compared to R1 , and R1 sounds sick. It literally gives you chills thru your spine when it rev’s up.
That surprised me just how good that is. Listen with good earphones people.

this and the vfr750/early 800 and 09+ r1 are the best sounding for sure....i prefer the VFR as its the same sound and firing order but has gear driven cams that whine and sound amazing too but this will be my next bike for sure as it makes 2x the hp and is 100lbs less than a VFR. Plus a little more exotic than my old 09 r1
