- After being unable to race in the first Sale Sizzler due to injury (the heel pain) and missing the second one because the Marple Beer Run was the next day (6th July) I was keen to get back racing again although my fitness was way off. The heat was a major issue, 25C at 7pm which made the going very tough for me. But I completed it without any heel pain.
Fantastic to be in the great outdoors. Plenty of fresh air.

@@TheRunningWhale Thanks Craig, I did the Sale Sizzler #4 tonight and heel seemed ok in the run, the real test will be tomorrow morning😬 If I can start to do my Tuesday or Thursday runs again, that’ll help my fitness and times too. It’s all about the heel😤
