Brentford talk to Sky Sports about the B Team model

Recently co-Director of Football Rasmus Ankersen sat down with Sky Sports to discuss the Club's b Team model and how it has developed in recent seasons.
Phil Giles, Thomas Frank and Kevin O'Connor also feature in the piece, which aired live on Sky last week. The piece also pays tribute to the work of Rob Rowan, our former Technical Director, who sadly passed away 2018.

Total respect , for our B team system ! but very disapointed , with the britexit situation ! We ve had some great players from France/europe , I have a home in France , and seen some great players here on the sidelines , as with neal , at breast , one of my friends here , who played against Brentford many times , and after retiring became a scout here in France ,and is now working for Arsenal , as their french scout , says the talent that comes through here is brilliant , and fits into english life / game so easyily , now as Rasmus says that door is closed there now for young talent ! but theres still big oppertuinities in findiing great talent as we ve done with Josh and Ivan etc in the UK ! the only problem now is with the fantastic way we ve developed young players , any team that gets a phone call from us , thinks , twice , about letting players go ! as they know they must have missed a diamond ! for me in our B team there is some amazing talent , I like the look of Aaron in particular , but they all have the potential of a good career ! in the game ! Well done Phil / Rasmus ! on some great work ! .in these strange / trying times !
