*NEW* TramSim Munich | The Tram Simulator | First Looks | Is It Worth It?

- Hello and welcome to another Tramsim episode!
Today we're looking at the brand new release of TramSim Munich! This addon brings the lines 23, 27 and 28 from Munich to life complete with the R2.2B tram for you to drive.
In this video we'll be driving the route 28 from Sendlinger Tor up to Scheidplatz. It takes a little bit of time for me to work out how to actually drive the tram, I did look at the tutorial but it was very buggy, and I could only get halfway through before it got stuck.
So here we go! The route 28, along with my honest opinion on this game. I do hope you enjoy! Let me know in the comments what you think!

Looks like a nice game, i do like the graphics, I don't think it's worth the price, seems like it needs a lot of optimising see quite the lag effect, as with vienna it would be nice to have tool tip pop up when hovering over switch gear. But when all is said and done it looks good and you did give it an honest review and unlike other tubers you paid for it yourself, Excellent video Joe.

Some traffic light are staying on ''red" untill you ask permission pressing the green button LZA on youre boardcomputer they use it near stops were you have to wait a couple of minutes.
From Germany here. Actually the Seats are not that Bad for Short Way travel. Even if you take the Entire Route of the Tram from one end to the other, it is more comfortable than sitting for the same amount of time on a wooden Bench. The Only thing is, if somebody decides to sit next to you. I am not skinny, but also not big, and it gets pretty cramped, if someone sits right next to you, because the seats are pretty narrow.

Tramsim munich has definitely got better, but I still prefer Vienna if you’re looking for a tram driving game 😄
Having the same bugs..it’s a shame..they released it too early, they wanted to release it earlier than they could and its unfinished, cars crashing, trams getting stuck, sigals are broken, and Munchener Freiheit station is unfinished. the one guy that said that it looks empty and loveless (at a comment on Fabian’s video) was totally right. i expected it to be better 😕. hopefully this all gets fixed soon, this looks like they accidentally published the wrong version of the game. but, i like it the way it is anyway…
I completely agree with you Transport Vibes! I think I could see past a lot of the short comings if it wasn’t so expensive. When you’re paying top dollar you expect things to be right :) fingers crossed they can sort many of the issues 😄
@@JoeDobsongaming yes, i hope they fix it soon too! this could be really fun to play (it already is but the broken signals drive me really mad). so lets hope for the best. im happy at least i had that 15% discount from Vienna 🤣

I agree, it's TramSim Vienna all over again with its bugs.
I echo everything you said here I have had to refund my copy as Its totally unplayable for me as for some reason because I last played Tram Sim Vienna in VR Tram Sim Munich ONLY wanted to start in VR even when my headset was not even plugged in or switched on (Its a Oculus Quest 2) and in the Tram Sim Discord they told me to try just turning off VR mode in game I did that and the game crashed something is seriously wrong with the release version. It is turning into On The Road all over again. (I know OTR and Tram Sim are from totally different companies in terms of development teams) but its Aerosoft who green lighted this poor release *Again* When will they ever learn? They need to take a look at DTG who did the right thing twice now with London-Brighton Rush Hour and Cornish Local and delayed the release until it was in at least a working state. I agree with Joe in its current state this is mearly an Early access game for which £30 or so quid it too expensive. And to hear only last night in Fabien's video "We have been busy we are taking the weekend off and will get back to fixing it on Monday" Artful / Rob Dodge
I applied to be part of the beta team when they offered by my request wasnt accepted this time, I felt I would have made a great beta tester for them as I own a AMD mid level PC, A gaming laptop running Nvidia graphics and my VR headset so can be quite useful when it comes to testing across different platforms. It would seem to me that the beta testers they selected could have been a tad blinkered by the role they were given as things in this release cant be unseen and they released it - Very Very poor decision in my eyes.

I asked for a refund 🤣🤣 I shall have to ponder this over the next few days haha
@@JoeDobsongaming maaan😄😄 if you get the refund then wait 1-2 weeks for it to get more patches and buy it again if you want to (anymore). trams are still stuck (at the track switch TO scheidplatz from line 23 for example) and also signals are not working. anyways i think they’ll be fixing it day by day from now on, until its okay 🧐
Fingers crossed for some great improvements. I’ve not given up on this game just yet, because I’ve seen how good Vienna is, so I know they can do it! It’s just not for me right now 😄

having trouble with tram sim munich it keeps crashing on me i downloaded tram sim vienna & that one worked ok but its just the munich not working can u help
