once had a therapist go "oh right, i forgot about that." in reference to my BIGGEST PIECE OF TRAUMA that took me 7 seasons to fully open up about. and she forgot 2 sessions later 😭 also had my first ever therapist ghost me back when i was in middle school

the day my therapist released me after 2 years, she told me how much Ive grown since day 1, she even remembered stuff and words that I used to describe myself back then, which I did even forget! it made me cry because I know thats her job but I was so fuckng grateful that she did pay attention to me even in the small things, she helped me save my life
