Athens 1959 - Philopappos hill and the Acropolis (silent color 8mm film)

Description:
We are on Philopappos Hill, a hill in Athens that is located opposite, from the Acropolis.
The film opens with two children and then shows us two women, one of whom is holding a baby in her arms. The filmmaker shows us his family who are smiling at him as we can stand out the Acropolis in the background.
The shots with the filmmaker's family having fun continue, while the little boy is playing around with a paper plane. The lens shows us the area, with the Philopappos monument standing out and afterwards, we see panoramic views of the Acropolis as well as the entire Athens.
The film closes with the family sitting on a terrace and the children playing.

Εγώ παρατήρησα την κομψότητα των γυναικών και των ανδρών.
Πάντα οι γυναίκες εκείνης της εποχής είχαν μια γοητεία.
Το είχα διαπιστώσει και στη μητέρα μου.
Δε ν ξέρω γιατί ,αλλά είχαν μια γλυκύτατη ομορφιά.
