I started out in tech support so here's some tips. Use we words, don't order people around. I.E "Let's try this and this" instead of "I want you do this and this." Paraphrase. So what I'm hearing is that you every time you try to get email you get this error message.Verify the trouble shooting step, "Let's right click on network neighborhood, we should get a menu, do you see an item called "Dial up networking" Ok let's go ahead and double click on that. I'm now a data architect but still use these skills for getting requirements. Boomer test: What operating system was I troubleshooting that had network neighborhood and dial up networking?

Thanks for this one Bert!!. Yeah, coding doesn't make you a programmer, and especially not a consultant - turns out there's a whole other skill set we need to get :-) A great book I read on the topic was Flawless Consulting - Be concise, be clear on what you want out of the meeting/email/interaction/system, etc, and by when will what happen. Well wort the read...
p.s. Just rewatched your vid on Temporal tables - Well done on how far you've come as a presenter !! The growth is inspiring!!!

Good vid, my school teach that every manager should read every line of sent messages... You do not do that? ...ok ... you are not a good manager... it is so simple... if you are a manager you have to adapt to your employees' needs. You do not do that? Well... you are not a good manager. For my opinions, those suggestions are good for managers involved by 50/100 employees problems...
But, as always, great vid!
