    There’s also a third option, ORMs like entity framework can take advantage of both scenarios, generating on the fly queries that can transform and sort in the DB engine.

    In my scenario I have to deal with a lot of linkedservers sendind large datasets around.
    I wonder if , in this case, get data direct to an "transformation app" could deliver fastests results without penalize the servers like it´s done today.

    I was interested, but as soon as there was an advertisement built into the video after I skipped the pre-roll ad I closed the video and will never watch anything from the channel again. Too bad.
