Same here in Eastern Europe, over $1000 USD, 999.00 euros. I have had the watch for a week, slight buyers remorse, but the screen, battery and design are what drew me to the AWU. I’m coming from SE, so this is a major upgrade.
I got an apple ultra today for a fathers day gift.

Great Watch. Had the Product Red S7 & scratched the screen just digging in the couch. I was thinking stainless steel but the trade in value stays the same. Went w/ AWU
I also bought the Ultra with the orange band and had a couple of others left over from my previous series 6 watch. I have the tan leather band as you showed in this video but for me, it’s the one that just doesn’t look quite right on the Ultra. To me, the ultra comes across as a more outdoors sports watch and that leather band just looks better on the smaller face Apple Watches for dressy occasions. A video I’d like to see you do is the different watch faces you use with a variety of complications you find most useful. Thanks for all the work you put into making all the review videos.

As for the watch face, its 100% the one i showed in the video. Havent changed it in months
Main reason for me was the battery life and the sturdiness of the case/sapphire glass

Started with the watch 4 or something. Didn’t like it and went back on watch7 and till watch ultra there has been some major improvements and I couldn’t be happier👍 well worth it

hey man! thanks for the great video! Could you give any recommendations for leather straps or milanese straps that you might have?
I have the original saddle brown which is pretty nice.
Also got a few from aliexpress, but those are a bit to long for my wrist and haven’t found one which has shorter length yet.
Amazon might have tho.
But other than leather links, i quite like all the cheap copies i got!

Mine, still scratch fee since day 1. I had the series 6 titanium, that had scratches but rarely, You can buff scratches out using the rough part of a dish sponge.

Awesome watch! I only bought it for three reasons, the battery, the size and also that it has a sapphire crystal.. since buying it I love it.. I hated all previous apple watches due to dire battery life but this will get me 4 days of life and I bought a titanium band so it looks good at the office too! Great job apple 👏👏👏

Garmin Fanatics: your apple watch is not like our watch that can go for months or year of battery life with crappy UI, limited functions except for sports or travking and ugly look everywhere we go.

Just ordered one online along with a 14 pro. I cant wait till they get here. I have hated all the android compatible watches including the pixel watch and after checking out the ultra in store i was sold.
The screen of my series 6 just detached by itself but the battery doesn't look swollen. I added a case on the watch so that I can still use it just fine but I don't take it underwater or under the shower or heavy rain. I'll upgrade to an Ultra but I just wait until September as we could have an Ultra 2. If not, I'll order this one. Great video! Thank you 🙏

Imhave one and love it. The sleep tracking is great. I am also recovering from surgery on my foot and need to lower it 1 minute every hour. The timer has made this easy to keep track of. Who inows, maybe I will even get healthy enough to dive again!
I agree that the reason I brought it is to track my sugar and not worry about the battery. Helping me a lot overall about my health. With sleep and activities. Watch my sugar levels for 13 hours at work a day. It is easier for messages from my workers. The battery lasts for 3 days easily. Great watch overall.

I have a tic watch pro 3 GPS ultra which I use with my blackshark by Xiaomi. But I just joined the ios community by getting an iPhone 13 promax and realized that tic watch Pro 3 ultra does not play well with it..I know apple ultra watch will work fine, but what I'm more interested in seeing is the comparison of both...or why does this have this and that not, kind of video

I dont have 4g or cellular yet, my phone company does not provide it until later this year. So this is without atm
Phone is nearby or somewhere in the house. The range is quite decent tbh
My first gen AW U arrives tomorrow. Switching back to IOS so I ordered a 15 Pro Max and my wife didnt want to give me my old Series 7 back since it has great battery life compared to her smaller series 5. It was $499 refurbished on Amazon vs a few hundred less for the LTE Series 9. Look forward to testing out the battery life and having peace of mind with the coocooned display.
Another question regarding recharge your ultra - to what battery % you go until you recgarge again?

Only issue woth those AliEx bands, I think, is that they use a different hardware. I like the Ti hardware on the original ones. that said; I imagine the othjers are probably also rather good, as they might even come out of the same facility in China. sans the hardware part.

I'm pretty much in the Apple eco system but I went Samsung Gear S3 in my last watch. It is now DOA and now, I'm highly considering an Apple Watch. In the beginning, I liked my Samsung but over time, it stopped doing the things that I liked. I know that Apple supports their OS much longer than others.
DOA means it never worked.
Dead on arrival.
Put an inexpensive PC clear bumper case and you eliminate any chance of damaging your expensive watch. I do along with a screen protector. The result is my Ultra looks new all the time. Because I did this for my Ultra 1, I got $411 vice $380 for my trade in!
I have found that I feel very comfortable leaving my iPhone 13Mini home and use my Ultra as my phone! It works great. With 64GB, it also makes for a great iPod!
I’m considering buying the ultra but through my cell phone provider and I need I feel like this will great way to leave my phone behind. And listen to podcast and music just from the watch.
@@frankalvarado6535 I think you’re going to like it. However, you’re still going to need your iPhone for things that you can’t do with the Watch alone but there will be times when you can leave it at home and just use your watch.

I had Watch 7 but very disappointed with the battery and the screen scratches just in seconds out of the box. Bought AWU w/out regrets
That means you bought the cheaper one if it’s scratched up. Always get sapphire glass Apple Watch, which is the stainless steel or higher. I had a stainless steel for like 4yrs and scraped and hit it on walls, metal, brick, etc over 4yrs and it doesn’t have a single scratch on the screen and on the body, I don’t really see any. Only diamonds are harder than sapphire so most surfaces won’t scratch them.
My wife has an AW4 and I have an AW6. They were bought new and still have NO scratches. We are 78 years old and are very careful not to bang them around or abuse them.

Compared to a Rolex, the Ultra is cheap and actually does tons more! Just saying. 😅 I appreciate your take and I, at 73, are in no way going to be doing any of the extreme activities that Apple made the Ultra series for.
I couldn’t agree more on the bands! I got a leather magnetic band and I would say it’s just as good as the expensive and no longer produced Apple band. I traded my U1 for the U2(got $411 for my U1) and will be keeping it for the long haul. I like the large screen, durability, good battery life and new SiP9 processor with 64GB of storage.

I just got my ultra today at Verizon!!!! They gave me $180 off for trade in for my Series 7 plus another $150 off so total $330 off of the watch!! So I paid around $400 it’s steal!!

There's no way you paid 100$ only for 21 bands! Even on amazon, the bands range from 8-20+ dollars. And from what I can see, your bands are on the higher quality end.

My Huawei GT Watch is more than two years and my TicWatch too. It cost me less than $200.
sleep tracking is worst, you buy hauwei band for 30 quid and you don't need to manually tell the band that hey I am going to sleep as filmmaker my sleep schedule is not fix and I forget to tell watch I am going to sleep and It tracks nothing, other hand the huawei band you sleep in day time it records as nap, you sleep in night anytime it tracks precisely when you fall asleep. and the alarm feature which vibrate when you are in light sleep is blessing just because we spend so much in apple and people think this that i bough apple watch and its in drawer waiting to get charge and i found is fucking marketing nonsense. compare to price to performance

@@mansingh1178dont know why your watch does not automatically detect when you sleep, mine does without telling it. It auto detects even naps, maybe your setting is off to use apple watch to monitor sleep. there is a channel that compares all smart watch and apple watch beat them all in sleep heart rate etc, i always wanted a fitness band but for accuracy i stick with apple for now.
