During the first few days, Mimi was often upstairs. She was so surprised and maybe a little scared of the puppies. Especially the smell. Now she is comfortable in the living room again. She is even curious about the puppies, but Coco won't let her near them yet.

CC is so alert when LL & MM come over to look at the babies. Nature is amazing. Can't wait until the babies are curious about LL & MM - they'll be following them everywhere on their little wobbly puppy legs! It's going to be beyond cute! And by then CC will probably be glad to have Grandma & Auntie as babysitters. 😂😂 ❤🐾🇺🇸🇳🇱

Coco is so good to not leave the puppies even to eat. Love the way you bring her the food. I don’t blame Coco for being on guard when Mimi is around. They are animals after all no matter how cute and cuddly.

Mimi is a beautiful cat, and Bengels seem relatively uncommon. Mimi takes an around-about inspection of the new puppies, which are adorable. Those colorful carp in the pool are huge. Best wishes to you and your many pets.

I think Mimi might attack them. She's really prey driven. I will never leave her alone with the puppies. I could be wrong, but I'll keep a close eye on her. xx

@@bengalmimiWhen my son brought his Chiweenie home my American Bobtail cat attacked him. He was only like 12 weeks old. My son set him down in the living room and came walking into the dining area with his dog following him. My cat pounced on top of his back and was hitting him with her paws. Her nails were popping in and out of his skin. She tore his ear and made him bleed. Poor little fella he hated cats the rest of his life. My son’s room is upstairs and Deuce, the dogs name, would start down the stairs and he would peek inbetween the bannister. Looking for the cat. He was always looking around when he came downstairs. The cat would torment him. She would sit across the room and stare at him. If he was sitting with me in my chaise she would sneak up behind us and reach around and swat him with her claws. She split his ear twice. My son had moved away for two years and the cat passed away while he was gone. They moved back in and when he came in the door he was looking all around for the cat. It took him probably 6 months before he was comfortable walking around. At first he would slowly go into a room looking all around. It was actually pretty funny. Poor little guy. We lost him January 9th of this year. He died in his sleep. He was 17 years old. He had Vestibular Syndrome and really bad arthritis in his back and he had cataracts. I would hand feed him and had a travel bottle of water for him in my chaise. I am crippled and on oxygen and other health problems. So I was able to sit with him all day everyday. My son brought him to bed with him at night. In the end we put a diaper on so in case he had an accident. My son and husband brought him out and had to hold him up to potty. He could no longer hold himself up.
He was a sweet loving dog. He was very good and hardly never barked. We miss him dearly.

Loulou was such a good mama I knew Coco would be the same. It's hilarious to me to see how protective Coco is of her little babies, even with Loulou. I love this channel. Love the way you take care of the creatures (the sugar gliders, the chickens, the ducks, the fish!) in your family. You also make me wish I could move to the Netherlands. O__O
