Today their eyes can be opened. That is not yet the case, although I see a very small opening in the eyes of the black & tan female. Maybe tomorrow. I am so curious.

My parents have bred mini doxies for quite a few years and their eyes usually start slitting open around 11 days. Around 15 they are truly open. But this is also just my personal experience

Thank you for sharing all this wonderful process with us! Little Miss Bon Bon de Chocolat is very active and seems very independent. The two little black and tan babies are very loving as they so often are, and such special little souls. If you are planning to keep one, I couldn't possibly offer any suggestions. They are all so amazing in their own special ways, and Coco is so wonderful with them!
Yesterday, our 17-year-old dachshund, Fafik, passed away. It is encouraging that the circle of life is working properly. We wish health for the puppies :)
I am so sorry for the loss of your dog. I lost mine 2 years ago.

My Chair and My refrigerator doors squeak. EVERY TIME I HEAR A SQUEAK I THINK "PUPPIES!!!" and it's nonstop! I love it. I love them!!
