When there's a cheater, just randomly say "nice toggle" or something vague without saying their name. Try not saying it right after dying or killing them. Say it out of nowhere. They usually end up assuming you were directly addressing them despite not even saying their name or interacting with them recently.
Well, when you kill them, they can only be talking to you

If you're cheating every time someone says that there is a cheater, you will be more likely to think they are talking about you even if you haven't interacted with them recently. It would only be a kafka trap if you say they're a cheater for denying it if they have interacted with you recently, otherwise if there is literally no reason for them to assume that they're talking about you it is very suspicious to suddenly say "i'm not cheating". Denying it isn't the only factor here.

@Shota-kun Not quite. A Kafka Trap is *directly* telling the cheater "You're cheating" and telling them that, when they deny, it's just more proof that they cheats.
What Bonzi is suggesting is to randomly say "You're cheating" without referring to any person in particular. If someone replies by saying they are not a cheater, it's proof that they cheat because they replied to the accusation that wasn't directed at them, due to them thinking that the accusation was referred to *them* in particular.
It's like when you just randomly typed in chat "bot" and omegatronic replied by saying they were not a bot.
His ping jumping up to 1000 after being autobalanced might be a sign of the Fake lag cheat, since that's usually what the ping caps out at. If you see a player with that high of a ping and they're hitting every shot, it's a cheater.
That's what i was thinking too, he probably toggled lag by an accident or something
@@Vorobey69 before the bots came, most 2fort matches I had were either full of Lag cheaters on a toggle key or EGH impersonators. It's likely the kid just got a fresh install of lmaobox and hit the wrong toggle key lol

@@brezzybee9559 While I've for sure met some nice people 99% of the community just feels awful to be around either spamming the mic or regurgitating some god awful unfunny meme some have even said some awful shit or overly sexual things in chat I can mute and leave as much as I want but these spergs are everywhere. As much as I love this game I just can't enjoy it with these types of people around and it's what ultimately led up to me quitting.

It's so sad, when I was a noob a few years back I used an achievement manager because I thought all cosmetics were bound to achievements. Then when I started playing, tf2 went on to become my favorite game of all time. And removing achievements is broken, now I have the achievements but it still shows that I haven't met the requirements. It's honestly quite funky
You can reset the achievements in-game without using achievement manager. It should reset all of them.
I mean... there are some achievements that grant hats.

I seem to find cheaters in almost every game nowdays
I can imagine the thought process behind this new player. Just installing TF2 for the first time, spend you first couple hours getting fucked by bots, gives up and starts cheating instead. Not justified, but I can see how new players could be swept down this dark path right off the bat, given the bot crisis.

I played my very first games from scratch and when I played TF2 I found what I liked to play and it's so sad to see new players thinks using cheats makes them good at the game but true way to play the game is to play it.

I remember years ago I'd play on like NA servers and my ping would be locked at like 600+, weirdly enough I could still reliably hit things, granted being stuck at bad ping levels I imagine I just got used to it enough to figure out how to play around it.

this stuff has been happening a bit often recently. seen a guy with fakelag on 24/7 not knowing how todo jack shit or change stuff in the cheat
The funniest part is that they don't even configure their shit at all, you can see his crosshair snapping on people all the time + he turned around to watch me go behind him as an invis spy in the beginning which means he just started using cheats and has no idea how to act to not get caught
Kinda sad that some people dont even take the time to learn and appreciate the game how its meant to be played, but you cant really blame them that much, after all, TF2 has a really steep learning curve
