- Mirroring the 2001 conference semi-finals, the Toronto Raptors battle 7 games against the Philadelphia 76ers, but this time Kawhi Leonard ends it on the greatest shot in Raptors franchise history.

Best part was Kawhi sitting down at the end and saying "God Damn!"

@@slyarliss1184 Nope!
@@Check2223 why?
lol missed that, thanks for pointing it out!
@xyana123 at the 30 minute mark
I've lost count of how many times I've watched Kawhi's shot. I still get chills every single time.
rekij lmaoo come on dude I’ve watched it ... oh lol yeh I’ve lost the count too 😅☺️☺️
Same bro. Amazing. Kawhi is just there with the basketball Gods
@@kchingk They're the champs now! 🙌💪

This episode was better than Game of Thrones season 8
Lol no
@@mabey2242 hell yeah!
So damn right
A low bar to pass
Indeed!
Honestly because we won the Championship, it makes that final shot against Philly even better. A defining moment in the whole playoffs because that was the closest to us getting eliminated.
watching that shot and the crowd just gives you chills

Ben McInnes well then

Nick Nurses Post game 7 speech was amazing
"Growth comes on its own terms" ✊
kawhi: "goddamn!".
Says it all.
alessandro Cipollone time?
I dont care about all the media saying we dont stand a chance of keeping Kawhi, I have never witness such a amazing player but above all human being like Kawhi, the moment I got to share with my mother on mothers day watching him play his heart out was the most inspiring moment I have had witness, the joy in my moms face was priceless, I know he will never see this but from the bottom of my heart thank you for that special moment we got to share with you and my mom and I love who you are thanks man
Everybodys mothers day was sensational.. Never will I forget that moment..
Hope he see this cause damn thats cute
I agree. His moment of glory was made even more poetic because of his character and humility. How fitting that he should become a country's hero with that one incredible shot!
My brother & I were making a pizza for my mom and we went over to the TV just to watch that shot. I’ll never forget it. My mom was going for the Sixers tho lol
He Protecc
He Attacc
But most importantly Kawhi got Canada's bacc

Through the years this team has never had the easy road. They have gone through battles, devastating losses, humiliation. But they push through and chip away even if it sometimes looks ugly. No divas, no drama queens, nobody shows off, and everyone is a professional. A team worth rooting for no matter what the haters say.
This is even too good for a movie script
True
Literally bought a kawhi jersey bc of that shot. HE STAY
I'm born n brought up in Toronto... m thankful forever whatever happen... from Vince , mo Pete, Bosh, DeMar & Kawhi... m always proud of raps no matter what... we lack in respect in American media but we fight like a warrior... we got bucks
We did it. The only bad raptor memory is Bargnani's pasta commercial.
Love nurse acknowledging to beat pholly they needed to chip away at them emotionally. End product is a game 7 win sending philly home In Tears
#02588 #02588 sending Embiid home in tears. Butler didn’t give a fuck 😂😂
Eighteen years later and this time the shot went in...justice is served.
major shoutout to the creators of this docuseries. You guys do so much to capture history. Brought tears to my eyes
At uni tryna procrastinate and see the 31min open gym video -> awww yisssss

me right now LOL
I'm re-watching this before Game 6, of the Bucks series. It's so well done. The mixture of old and new storylines, and of course, the thrilling conclusion. I still can't believe it. I'm 43. It wasn't until Vince, that I truly got behind the Raps...and I'll never forget just how painful that loss was, all those years ago.
The Alvin Williams segment was so important, because me and all my friends were like, "We'll be back next year"...only to see management begin to mess things up...to see your superstar player actively trying to get traded...to horrible picks...uninterested journeymen players...tank nation...massive regular season progress, contrasted with even bigger playoff disappointments.. LeBronto...trading away the most loyal Raptor, in franchise history...firing the Coach of the Year, and replacing him with his virtually unknown assistant coach...wondering if this was going to be worth it, for someone who probably never thought about playing for the Raps...the load management...wondering if the team was tight...constantly hearing about how our superstar player was going to leave, at the first opportunity...to the deadline trades...going all in, on this year...losing game one against Orlando...all the missed open looks...watching Embid troll us..not closing out in Game Six against Philly...to the missed free throws with 10.4 seconds left, in Game Seven...Jimmy Butler tying it...and then that glorious, incredible, improbable, final shot...
Bounce...Bounce...Bounce...Bounce..Splash

Airplane crowd from Toronto is an all time raptors moment
that moment put me to tears.
Dear Raps fans,
Do whatever it takes to keep him. He one special dude.
Spurs fan
As a lifelong Raps fan that watched the first series between them and the 76ers as a child (I'm 26) to the Rize of DeMar all the way till now, there is nothing more as a fan I could ask for than to keep this special man in our organization. I crave to see him create more moments like this in the red and white.
@@rileyhigginbottom5828 pulling for yall. Kawhi deserves another shot at gsw
I appreciate and respect you as a Spurs fan. Peace to you. Raps fan
What can the fans do lol.
Kawhi just so humbled I love it 😌
Kawhi's dad taped it in for him...😭😭 i love kawhi leonard
zamazo gorski u know his dad is dead that’s why you said that, but why would you use a laughing emoji out of all emoji’s.
2shiftyMaL maybe you jut aren’t inclined with emojis but that’s a crying emoji.
Crazy how both MJ and Kawhi dad's were murdered. shows how much motivation they have to make their pa's proud..
I became a Raptors and basketball fan 18 years ago watching that Vince Cater led team!
For so long that was our most memorable moment.
We've gone though so many heart breaking and awful seasons.
It's been the most amazing feeling the last couple of days.
Watching endless videos of Raptors fans all over the world going crazy has made me tear up over and over again!
This is something that will always be on every countdown list of amazing sports moments and it belongs to us!!!
I love this Raptors team sooo damn much! You made this whole city and country proud!
But the job is only half done! Let's keep up the humble hustle and go get it!!
LET'S GO RAPTORS!!!!!!!!!!!
This was a phenomenal episode. I love the way everything was weaved together. Both 76ers series are legendary & unforgettable.
i like this documentary not bias , as a philly fan you deserve this win guys , and we need to take more progress we you next season
Thank you for being so gracious!
Skip : lucky shot, no way he has practiced these types of shots
...
26:00 lmao
Skip is sour. Because kawhi left San Antonio.
Best comment!
Skip is salty as fck hahahaha
Not true, check out Spurs/ Miami, Kwahi highlights ..exact same shot.
Why should someone listen to skip ?
That 01 series was the first year I really watched the Raptors. This was like 18 yrs of weight off my back. Redemption
I hope Kawhi knows he has the support of all of Canada behind him, including Justin Trudeau and the prime minister, Drake.
@Neri Matrixx Lol salty bucks fan.
@@griffin754 Justin Trudeau is the prime minister...
29:18 Kyle’s son: Kawhi made the buzzer! I saw that!
so cute 🥺
Incredible series, unbelievable shot, unthinkable challenge coming. Let's go get this next step Raptors!!! 💪 #WeTheNorth
Life long sixers fan here. Kawhi played lights out, even without much help from his supporting cast he came out on top. Serge played great in game 7 as well. Congrats guys, it was a hard fought series and the better team won. Hopefully Kawhi stays so we can run it back next year. Good luck with the rest of the playoffs.
Kawhi squatting while waiting for the shot to go in was a priceless moment that had the best mural artist recreate all over Toronto Ontario
waited 2 whole weeks for the open gym and kawhi game 7 shot made this episode one the greatest ones ever made
thank you Raptors. we will always cherish these memories.
That series took years out of my life. Shit was so stressful. But Bucks are the real deal. Good luck Raptors. Love you Kawhi.
We beat Bucks be confident, all we need is great coaching and our bench.
Kawhi just broke the curse with those 4 bounces , no drake no Paul pierce no barneys no jinx gonna stop us now
i still dont understand the drake curse lmao. We usually win when hes in the building
@@DF-is5xe When he rocks a team's merch on IG, the team usually loses.
@@MYNAMEISKLAY oh okay
@@MYNAMEISKLAY when McGregor lost to Khabib, Drake was the one carrying the Ireland flag during the weigh in 😂
@@jarlborg2102 exactly 🤣🤣🤣 I think Drake was even wearing some 76ers merch during the game 7 against Raptors recently. Dude is cursed, but he used it to his advantage 😂
We ready for them bucks. That shot gave us energy
@Neri Matrixx Game was 1 Raptors game, Nurse didn't sit Kawhi enough that specific game which is why he didn't produce in the 4th but they shouldn't of let bucks get on that run when they had set the tone and pace the first three quarters. Need to take game 2 or bucks might gain too much momentum going back to the dot.
@Neri Matrixx how's that sweep looking?
@Neri Matrixx Bet you won't come back bitch😂
@Neri Matrixx BackSweeeeeep 😂
@Neri Matrixx Legends say Neri is still looking for the broom. LMAO
Alvin Boogie Williams... definitely one of my fav Raptors all time...
Also Carter missing the shot was NOT because of him going to graduation... that's just a BS reason... he missed because he missed...
Perfect headline for this episode. Go Raps!!!
The raps fans doing the Airplane had me lmao, then i was crying again at the end
The mirror image to 2001 and Alvin’s narration was awesome for this episode. The Bounce as well.
How is it possible that #OpenGym can almost duplicate the exact same way I felt when that shot went down? #SomebodyCuttingOnions
Should have talked about Kyle's scoring trouble, fan backlash and his ability to overcome. Also the frustrating ref calls and our frustration taking the best of us in game three (ie. the trip). Also some discussion about Jo's sicknesses would help really chronical the story of this series. I love Open Gym!
I get goosebumps every damn time.. historic shot and I have lived long enough to see it
I'll never forget this series. There was some tough moments and through all that WE THE NORTH made it through. Ibaka came up HUGE in Game 7
All that taunting from embid really came back to bite him in the ass. All those crying memes. 😂🤣😂🤣
First Coach Brown and then Coach Budenholzer now, a former player of his turned Coach, it's Coach Kerr. Kawhi has a Pop hit list where he's taking down all Coach Popovich's young Jedi's. The force is strong in this one called Kawhi.
Philly sign guy has left the chat
That old man is admirable tho,
He's a "ride and die with the team" type of fan.
What a great documentary. You know what's amazing? Approx 37.28 million Canadians were rooting for the Raptors. Here in the U.S., out of approx 328,98,624 Million Americans, 328,90,000 were rooting for Kawhi and his teammates. Such a humble guy and the best player in the League on both side of the Court.
Biggest difference between these eras are the coaches. Two legendary coaches in Lenny Wilkens and Larry Brown and new bloods in Nick Nurse and Brett Brown.
Mannnnnnn!!!!! What an emotional roller coaster game! I jumped so high after the buzzer beater I almost hit the ceiling. Amazing!!! So proud of this team!
What a team this is. They deserve to win the Finals
CHILLS!!! Like Kawhi said: God. damn.
Gotta love these boys! This playoff run is everything I love about basketball - passion, hustle and teamwork. Wish you luck in the Finals!
Can’t wait for the documentary of the Milwaukee series 🙏🏽❤️
Danny was really pissed at Embiid's antics in game 3. Thank you Joel.
The thrill from everything about this episode/series is indescribable😭 Let’s goooo, Raps in 6!!!!
That was so beautifully shot, with some intimate moments with the players, showing the emotions of the highs and lows of the game series. Moving and so satisfying knowing that this had an even better happy ending for the team! Go Raps! The Kings of the North!
This was like a mini movie. Great job!
Love this, respect for 23:00 Alvin Williams. This was very much a series of redemption even for him. Amazing.
man it’s crazy how similar the games were from two different decades
The winning shot --- a most powerful tearjerker of a moment...
Too bad that there is not a LOVELY BOTTOM to rate this video, I am so proud of this team, I am so proud to be Canadian, tears runned down when watching this video, all I can say is THANKS RAPTORS, does not matter what happends next, I am so so so proud of you guys and I am so proud to be part of this Magnificent City called TORONTO!!!!!!
kameron melting my heart "I saw that"
Whole Toronto Raptors squad= Pure Legendary
The crowd, the atmosphere at the arena, the great series and what a way to close it as kawhi comes out clutch for the raptors. Hopefully in the future, i can watch the raptors live in canada and see the magical moment happens.

This version of Kawhi was the best offensively while the Spurs one was the defensive. Should’ve stayed Kawhi, you should’ve. But TY for the 🏆!!!
"If you go up 2-0, the series isn't over, but... the odds are astronomical in your favour that you're going to win the series", Dave McMenamin. Looks like the bucks are choking those odds :)
Kawhi's shot is the sign that they"ll becoming champions!
Watching the two series between raptors and 76ers I feel confident to say that the guy in with the cornrows won them both 😂😂😂😂
chills man chills
With all the shit talking Joel Embiid was doing, Kawhi with that basket showed him who the father figure is.
Let's go Raps. This is the chance we have been waiting for. Remember all the sacrifices that got you here. The whole Canada got your back, bucks ain't got shit.
