I loved your technique with the fabric strap connector, mine sometimes look wonky. I like the last ones the precut leather they look so nice. You make it simple to follow. I no longer sew my cross body straps from the bag's fabric since the webbing is such a time saver and I found that I can use the same crossbody strap on multiple bags. I have sewn probably almost all of your patterns.

Glad it was helpful! Yes I agree - webbing saves so much time, I never enjoy making yards of self fabric strap 😂

Very helpful info about alternative placements for carrier strap/D rings. As a new bag maker, I’m not always sure what is typical/allowable. Don’t want weird stuff going on, you know!

Great information, TY I'm in need of new handles for my 12 yo flight bag, the shoulder strap is beautiful, but the handle has begun to deteriorate, and I really didn't want to purchase a new bag. This helps tremendously, every thing is so expensive and I only use it a few times a year. Thanks again

I love these bags. It's going to be my go to daily bag. This is the only style that works for me. Beautiful Diane. Thank you. The only thing is that I don't have a rivet press. Can the side straps be affixed any other way? With a sewing machine?

    • @SpencerOgg

Perfect! Yes, definitely - if you watch the video I mention how to make fabric carriers and that you can stitch them on with 2 lines of stitching - its around the middle somewhere - happy sewing :)
