We stayed here last August with our young son was amazing clean food good staff great returned this june still clean staff great remembered my son pools good again but unfortunately food was a let down this year and chose wrong time as lots spanish schools use hotel in june lol

No problem - there is a gym and spa area, but I didn't check it out, so I couldn't say what it's like

I've stayed at the Oasis Park, certainly not a holiday from hell hotel, but for a 4* it's incredibly bland, and lacks a bit of soul. There is a hotel about 2 mins walk away called the Marinada, it's a 3* and is much better than the Oasis. I tend to find that with most of the "Best" hotel chain properties, they do the job but they don't really excel at anything in particular. If the price ie right then they are worth a go, but I'd never pay a lot for their properties.

I suppose different accommodations are rated differently in different parts of the world as I agree it's budget accommodation - nothing wrong with that it's a decent place to stay and has everything you need but yeah I understand your point
