Butlins Bognor was THE family holiday for me growing up! We went every year from when I was six until seventeen, with the only break being because of covid. Great to see how familiar things still are, as well as how fascinating the new stuff is!

Can’t understand why anyone would pay / buy items with a parks branding on, you are giving the park money to advertise their product! They should be paying you to advertise them!

Nice video thank you for showing us different food places and prices. Me and few friends are going alton towers in a week. Last year we took our own snacks. I might get those Doughnuts they look so good.

I went wen it opend and left wen it closed

They should of put a 4D rollercoaster fiim because that would of made more sense instead of the ready player one and i checked the wind speed that the ride can still work is up 35mph but that could be wrong

Supposedly there were plans to replace steeplechase at one point, to the point of having blueprints for its replacement. However I suspect that was before Nick Thompson went out of his way to convince S&S to produce the modern version, that suggest to me that they don’t want to lose steeplechase and they’re putting in contingencies in other words possibly either replacing the horses or the track or both to keep the ride/give it a new lease of life, I can’t see any other logical reason why they would encourage S&S to do that if they weren’t going to at least try to keep it going.

Stealth and Collosus! ❤ The two rides that make Thorpe Park so good. Shame Collosus was down. A lot of new stuff too.. Nice video.

What do you think of the new areas, Thorpe have improved on this year? I think they have done a great job in that respect getting the park looking nice and fresh! ❤ Have you been to Thorpe Park or any Merlin parks such as Alton Towers and encountered problems with their policies due to a slight breeze? Is it uk health and safety gone mad, or is it the park wind speed policy only? Obviously, you don't get this in a lot of European parks they even operate the coasters in the snow! Appreciate its different operations per ride due to how they run, but still again in European parks, they have a variety also and still run Let me know your thoughts in the comments and as always I'll see you in the next Theme Parks And Attractions video

Used to visit Barry Island 30 or so years ago. Ty for the video. So disappointing that it has run down so far.

It's a fantastic place but suffers from serious over crowding unfortunately. We went on a Monday and it was much busier than what's shown here. Takes away from the enjoyment sadly.

I used to live in tenerife (Las americas/San eugenio areas. I worked at Puerto colon and a couple of years later down veronicas. Jungle park used to be called eagle park. I flipped on 1 of those bob sleds there. They used to have condors (12ft wide wing span) they used to fly off now and again (and neighbourhood cats used to go missing). There used to be some tigers (a couple of white ones) on the right as you walk in. There where a couple of lions (1 white one) In an enclosure near the urang utang enclosure. There was a black jaguar in an enclosure near the starting entrance to the orchid/bob sled pathway.

We're staying in the Wave hotel next week, is there anywhere to lock bicycles?
