I still think that announcement was pretty clear that it was only saying that 'if' an emulator points to downloads then they have to comply with laws and stuff. It never said it would disallow access to local files.

Pokemon Stadium on NSO doesn't support the transfer pak anyway, the only way to get the full experience is through original hardware that doesn't work anymore because of dead save batteries or emulators.
Bro… Delta was created by Riley Truscot. He did use gba4ios. But he made it his own. He made it possible to side-load to the iPhone without jailbreaking. The dude is a legend. He is possibly the reason Apple decided to allow emulators.
Man this old button overlay for that emulator in the thumbnail really brings back nostalgia from the early days of having jailbroken iphone 4 & ipod touch with Cydia back in the day. That was actually my first experience with emulation on mobile phones so this is really awesome to see it come full circle officially even as someone who hasn't had an iphone since iPhone 4. I specifically remember having the same controller overlays as the thumbnail here and even figuring out how to edit said overlay to customize it for fun. PSP was my first experience with "jailbreaking", followed by iPod Touch, and later iPhone 4. This was during my HS years (class of 2010). I even wrote some guides for jailbreaking PSP & iPod Touch at this time for a now defunct tech blog called AllTechRelated. These were some great memories of mine 🤙❤

I’ve had Gameboy emulators that run through Google Drive on my iPhone since 2012 or so. It’s an app on the iPhone that connects to my drive for the roms. I’ve intentionally never deleted it because I’m worried it’ll stop working 😂 I check every few months and it works fine.
I'm honestly shocked that the first emulator wasn't DOS-Box. I love playing my old DOS games on android. (I did grab a USB-C keyboard with phone tablet stand for some of them.)
They improved it to make money not to give games for free emulation cost money how are you playing Nintendo 64 NES game boy games on Nintendo Switch online your paying for the service

Allow emulation, so we can sue the socks off multiple emulators, make a boat load of money, examples out of people, and it will also support your case for the security provided by a closed Apple Ecosystem. The courts will set precedence, and put an end to all of the anti-consumer complaints and our crusade against piracy, helping us both!
i recall two years ago trying to emulate on my iPad, and it was a damn nightmare, even after following countless guides. Got an S7 Tab +(or pro II forget) and it took literally 4 minutes.
They probably asked for store removal. Won't be full-blown legal war. Nintendo is big, but compared to Apple, they're nothing. Apple makes the entire Nintendo owned assets worth in just 3 months.
This could be a big issue and screw whoever put this app up. Being loud about emulators and emulation is how you get Nintendo's attention and get taken down. If popular emulators get put on here we could see nintendo go very aggressively against very popular and reliable emulators

I download it as soon as it was released, and heaven playing a bunch of my rum collection with no problems, exactly what I've been waiting for for years, a legitimate game emulator in Apples mobile platform. However, I had I known it was a rip off of someone else's code, I would've download it. Now I'm debating if I should delete it or not.
Once we get side loading globally mandated for all devices and operating systems… we will get so much new things on all these devices it will be ridiculous. Just what Android, Windows, Linux and now Xbox Series can do is awesome.
For the record, real GBA4iOS isn't hard to get ahold of at all. I use Altstore but if you're running the right device and version to use Trollstore that'll be the option you want to use. Delta is by the same developer and supports more systems but GBA4iOS is a better GB/C/A emulator (Delta lack s link support, for starters)
Nintendo's stance on emulators will persist until Apple / Microsoft decide they wish to sell emulators. At which point they will say, 'come and stop us', and Nintendo's lawyers will shrink back into their shells.
We FINALLY have a GBA emulator. Don’t care how it came about or who’s idea it’s based off, just leave the damn thing alone so can simply enjoy some retro classics in peace..

I was hoping to see Retroarch make it's grand debut! I don't use iOS anymore, but still interested in some of the shenanigans that happen there.
I love the ease of access of Retroarch on Android and PC.

Had a 3 hour session of Oracle of Seasons today. Plays amazingly, even with the touch controls. For GBA though, you’ll want a physical controller.

I’m having trouble understanding how to locate roms in the app. I have roms in my phone’s files, how do I do directory things 😢
Go into your files app and locate the rom back ups and when you click on it, it should load into that and remove itself from files
So with Afterplay I have to turn off low power mode on there so do I have to do the same with iGBA?
