I love how they adding new mechanics to game in a different non-competitive mod so people can't complain about new things in CS:GO .
It's because Valve let's people work on whatever they want, and they'd rather make new modes than conventional maps for CSGO.
They had a new zombie game mostly finished from a design standpoint that just needed art assets and they scrapped it because they couldn't agree on whether it should be its own thing or turned into Left 4 Dead 3.

It's not really phalanx nor testudo, though you could argue that it's more like a phalanx, except with guns in stead of pikes.

@@CataciousAmogusevic you could argue that by holding the shields behind them they were enclosing themselves much like the turtle formation BUT they could've been just carrying it, a phalanx would have everyone carrying shields to be able to take over the 'shield wall job' if the row in front of them failed

CS:GO is the shooter that you need to stand still while shooting to be accurate, yet you can stickyjump and parachute with a MP9 and get the same results.

Fall damage is determined by speed of impact with ground, not distance. If you no-clip at the ground (from above) and un-no-clip right before hitting the ground, you take a lot (if not lethal) damage. Granted, this doesn't mean that the exosuit shouldn't also reduce the practical velocity by 60% (therefore also increasing the distance before getting hurt).

i was doing all of this, thanks for showing everyone my strat. gosh dangit. but i do instead take the taser at the start, because it onehits main weapon crates and just getting a mp7 2 seconds after spawning is for me, much more worth than a shield (that you can buy for 500 anyway, but a main weapon, when you dont find it, is 750-1250 depending where you get it from.)
can you do more matchmaking academy, I find them very helpful.

What happened in my match:
I see an experimental weapon package, at this point i already have armor, the mobility package and the tactical shield.
I realize that someone must have gone to get the weapon package.
I have an MP9 which i use to my advantage, I fly across and get the guy killed, What i was suprised to find out was that he had an AWP out of the experimental weapon box.
I take the package, and use the items to my advantage
bump mining up to the tallest building without damage and getting 2 kills with an AWP, eliminating 2 people that SOLOq'd
After that, guy under the bridge, running from the danger zone, Gets killed by me.
I won the match.
To be honest i still feel pretty bad about the guy who lost his AWP. that was an F spamming moment.
But seriously, This is a great strat

I survive a bit long. The fun begins when I survive long enough that I got the SSG. The shield isnt really a problem. The hole is already big enough that you can shoot it long distances. Its very easy to counter.

The first time playing Sirocco I got 8 kills and came in 10th place. Respawning is so lame for solo players.
This almost feels.like flying scoutsman except it's much easier since there is not much competition if not every enemies have a scout
