You might not have witnessed such a recipe video before, that too of HANUMANTHU PALAV ORIGINAL. Yes this was ORIGIANL Hotel Hanumanthu Palav which they claimed. Started in 1930, and has the legacy which os fortified by the simple yet genuine method of making a real palm by Mr Hanumanthu himself who lived 106 years.
He was ardent Mutton lover and also had inch inch knowledge of how the taste buds work.

Being mysorean I can say that I have been eating hanumanthu palav since more than 2 decade but last 2 to 3 years they have reduced the quantity of mutton pieces and increases rice quantity but the price is more. Last few days I had eaten 3 times and I felt now they increase the spicy level like Andhra biriyanis. Lot of difference compared to old hanumanthu palav to new hanumanthu palav

I remember hanumanthu which I used to eat regularly during 1970 to 1972 when I was studying MBBS in mysore medical college
Sir 2008-2014 mbbs from Mysore medical College.. I use to eat H pulav 😅
How was the taste of that time?

There are around 10 Hanumanthu Pulav restaurants in Mysore all owned by the children of Mr. Hanumanthu. Out of which atleast 4 restaurants are there since more than 35 years. All of them have lost original taste which was there 20 years back. Now the hype is just by the floating crowd who come to Mysore (Tourists) ..

As a Mysorean who has been consuming H’s palav since late 80s, I can pretty clearly say that H have lost their grip on their product. The quality is very poor and they will never correct it because people blindly give good remarks to them.

I too heard the name hanumantu pulav and then after my marriage i took my hubby to mysore i searched for the hotel and went there... Ill say it really nothing was there to say like wow😢.... I felt like oh why did we come here... Why these ppl say that much abt hanumantu pulav as there is nothing spl... May b as all others say the quality is now vanished as compared to b4....
