FSH stimulates PRIMARY follicles - not primordial follicles. Primordial follicles develop into primary follicles independent of FSH due to mechanisms that are still not fully known.
Thanks for the Video! Apologies for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Sonsaiah Nonpareil Superiority (just google it)? It is a great one off guide for attracting amazing ladies using this simple pheromone trick without the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my coo-worker after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.
Menopause is an unacceptable lifestyle choice. God want's American women to produce more Christian baby's. Menopause is a technique liberal's are using to reduce are Christian population. Menopause is immoral
I have one doubt during m.c. Follicles are mature by fsh hormone bt at early menopause some follicles are still maturing nd small amount of estrogen is still there then it will stimulate hypothalamus nd ant pituitary to produce more fsh nd if there will be production of fsh then follicles will start mature???? Can anyone clear my confusion
@@alishaanny227 During Pre- menopause some follicles are still maturing (i.e they still have fsh receptors and will respond to fsh, leading to secretion of Estrogen) but as menopause further progresses there are very little or no follicles left, which is why the fsh increase in no as the estrogen levels aren't as high as they were before. And that causes desensitization of the fsh receptors of the follicles. Hope it helps! :)
@@alishaanny227 Good question. Here's my understanding. As the ovarian follicles start depleting, they also become resistant to pituitary gonadotropin. And although estrogen is present now, but the dominant one is estrone and not estradiol as this is depleting rapidly (which is normally required for normal functions). So, although FSH increases, but as the required estradiol is not sufficient and also as the ovarian follicle are resistant to gonadotropin, FSH (although increased) is not able to carry out it's normal function as the factors are not favourable for it. Hope it helps:)
Menopause symptoms- frequent urination, sweats 4minute head chest neck, joint pain, and weight gain! Wow those are identical to all reported opioid withdrawal symptoms, I know I had to come off morphine after a surgery and a year in pain after taking opioids, pure hell, but that's the exact symptoms I had plus vomiting, otherwise just the same, maybe more intense but after six months they get better. God bless

Follicle (granulosa cells) produces inhibin that blocks the FSH secretion (not estrogen inhibits FSH production) and estrogen inhibits LH production. This is the accurate physiology but maybe you explain it in this way to simplify the process. However, it got me confused! I think it's better to mention it....
I love your videos so much, thank you!! I do have a small question, though -- you switch spellings between Oestrogen and Eostrogen... are they still the same thing, or are you talking about Estrogens in the latter case...?
This video is great, but I do struggle to hear the audio. Could you potentially turn on the subtitles or closed-captioning for this video to make it more accessible?
The sustained high levels of FSH from the anterior pit during menopause (which is supportive of the diagnosis of menopause) is because reduced/ absence of follicular cells in the ovaries means less oestrogen and progesterone that normally inhibit the secretion of FSH. correct? however in your video on the menstrual cycle you say the opposite. that at low levels oestrogen inhibits GnRH and so inhibits release of FSH and LH and only at HIGH levels of OESTROGEN it stimulates the release of LH/FSH.
An enjoyable video ( although the corpus luteum produces progesterone). I am 56, normal menstruation and not yet showing any signs of even early menopause. I am unable to find anything on late onset menopause; any ideas for why this occurs would be welcome.
My aunt was going through her premenopausal stage. She was having night sweats, irritation, hot flashes, vaginal dryness, headache, sleep disturbance, anxiety, depression. One day she discussed her problem with one of her friend. She guided her about Planet Ayurveda, she visited there, consulted Dr. Vikram Chauhan, Dr. Vikram prescribed her with ''Menopause care pack''. My aunt is much better now.
I was told that oestrogen exposure increases endometrial cancer. Hence why is it that Nulliparus women are at higher risk? If oestrogen goes up in pregnancy?
You have a very clear way of presenting, however, your explanation is partial. You haven't mentioned the whole steroid pathway and the influence of stress on oestrogen production and disruption of the menstrual cycle. Not all women need HRT or display the symptoms mentioned and it's important to understand why.
What is the purpose of hoome replacent If im in menopause amd i dont need estrogen . Do i want to build estrogen back up just for the relief of the symptons of menopuse?
Alicia Naturals probiotic really helped with my menopause symptoms. There is some interesting research showing that probiotics can help with menopause. Wish I had known about it earlier.
as u mentioned that women gain weight during menopause so wouldnt that cause an increase in oestrogen production because fat cells secrete oestrogen? besides my question, excellent video!!!!!!!!
no the normal E2 form of estrogen decreases but the E3 or estriol increases in post-menopause. n with menopause fat is d only source f estrogen so naturally levels lower gradually.
I'd love to know why he says this all starts with menopause when it actually starts with perimenopause (pre-menopause). The time frame during which women experience this is different for everyone but typically lasts much longer than he says. Then menopause is defined as one year after our last period. So I stopped watching this after about 2 minutes because it is misinformation. And I know because I have been researching as I am going through this long hormonal process. Hopefully in the last seven years he's become more informed.
Just out of curiosity, why do you say menopause being defined as 12 months after the last cycle misinformation? That seems to be the agreed upon definition. Do you have sources that argue or state otherwise?
U r video n teaching technique all r fab sir but i want to need videos on more topic like

Good video! one little thing at 5:58... the principle hormone produced by the corpus luteum is progesterone, not estradiol.

Although it is mainly genetically predetermined, but high BMI and multiple pregnancies may also have role to play
Its usually due to genetics nothing pathological
Thanks
