I have faith that Zack will deliver on this. As you said his visuals are second to none. His story boards just look phenomenal, and if you know Snyder if he draws it he films it. With Netflix giving him control and support, I believe you're right, we could have one of the greatest sci fi epics to date. I honestly cannot wait! Let's gooo!
I love how Zack Snyder direct actors/actresses perfectly to their best capabilities. I am not saying he is a perfect Director/artist (no one is) but I can say he can make you look good in scenes. His work is like seeing a comic book panel come to life.

I'm thinking that it might be. Netflix has been wanting to get into the cinema release game to maximize returns for their original content. They just put Glass Onion in theaters as a test. It did well for the very brief window that they scheduled it for. And surely Rebel Moon is on the cinematic level.

Imagine if Snyder's JL team teamed up in Rebel Moon as new original characters as a cameo. Either way I'm excited for Rebel Moon and happy for Snyder and Junkie getting to collaborate again.

It's been a while since you made... a road to rebel moon episode. I'm so looking forward to this and if you can, I hope to see your rebuilding the snyderverse story again sometime. Ik im still bummed about Cavill being fired, but looking back, the DCEU, say what you will about it, has really been a rough road. I'm still happy we got ZSJL but i really wish we got a good closure to the snyderverse, a final goodbye to the cast and then reboot. I'll still go into these new DC films albeit more cautiously. Can't wait to see Rebel Moon though.

There's been so little revealed about this that I'm very curious about a first teaser. My hope is that this, like Army of the Dead, gets a limited theatrical release, if possible.
You're absolutely right on the money...when Zack is left to work without studio interference he's a fucking genius. I mean I've loved every single of his movies because I usually get the director's cut of each version (Watchmen, Sucker Punch, BvS, etc).
Netflix seems like they're treating Snyder well and that man deserves that after all the bullshit WB put him and his wife through.

The sad truth is that it will never rival any of the all-time greats as a streaming-only property. No theaters, no physical media...no real way to make the same impact.

The only thing that worries me a little bit is that lately Zack Snyder seems to be obsessed with using those "dream lenses" as he calls them, which have the shallowest depth of field possible, the lenses he used in Army of the Dead. And it's true that excellent visual effects are one of the things that everyone recognizes that can be found in Zack Snyder's movies, great visuals are one of the things he is known for.
But..... in my opinion, Army of the Dead's visuals don't look good at all, everything looks blurry, claustrophobic and even disorienting, with those wide open lenses. So, I hope Zack doesn't use those lenses or at least that he didn't shoot the entire movie with them, or everything will look terrible, and it's not going to matter if the movie's plot is good or not.
Zack DON'T be the cinematographer of your own movies, please 🙏. Bring back Fabian Wagner
Yea man, I don’t think he’d use those lenses for this movie tho. I mean it is a big and grand sci fi movie so making everything hazy wouldn’t even make sense and Zack would know this

WB is not WBD. WB is the one who fucked up Zack along with the whole DCEU. It's fucked up so bad that WBD made a business decisson to reboot.
@@ketoasd WBD agreed to take the easy way to reboot the DCEU and removed Henry cavill as Superman.
The way I see it, After the events of ZSJL and now After the events of Black Adam they could have easily continued with the events further. Leading to the new and updated story boards which zack showed to WBD a few months ago ( JL 2 and JL 3). And even a Green Lantern Corps movie somewhere along the line
@@ourplanet4368 if Black Adam was a success, we're not having this conversation. The reality is there is not enough audience who cares fornthe DCEU. Look at Marvel, even their trash movie generates money because the audience trust the Marvel brand, DCEU has failed to bring the general audience on board over and over . We hardcore fans (who are the minority) will watch anything that DC put out. But the reality is, you have to involve the general audience (which is the majority) to care for your universe to succeed. There is just too much baggage that are unfixable with the DCEU so they made a business decission to reboot with the new DCU.
