I only heard this the day before yesterday and it's all I've been listening to, nonstop. I'm in a bit of a rough place right now and I don't really need something to help me feel better, but just something to put me at peace, and that's what this song does for me, it puts me at peace. When I first listened to it, I thought it was kinda a long song, but now it's nowhere near long enough.

Can’t believe I heard this for the first time almost 10 years ago.
I'm not sure if this means anything, but I had noticed something when Dan sang the third verse. I looked up the original lyrics, and they state:
*I never showed you what I want, You never told me what you need ,*
But when Dan sings it, he rephrases it:
*You never showed me what you want, I never told you what I need.*
It just happens to be the complete opposite, so was Ralph referring to Dan in these lyrics?

I don't think it was a mistake..when you watch cover of bastille - Requiem for blue jeans (it is cover on Blue jeans of Lana Del Rey) Dan changes the persons too :)
Dan smith often changes lyrics of the songs he covers. It indeed means something, in my opinion. Take an example of the song we can't stop from Miley Cyrus. He intendedly changed some of the lyrics too
