Thanks for making this video! Super easy to follow and now have my backups setup & automated for the new year :)
Excellent review with examples. I'm trying it right now and will donate to the developer to support this useful software.
BTW, what's with the paid Aomei bot comments? That's pathetic. I won't use Aomei just because of this.
Shout out to that one random guy on reddit that recommended this 👍
I am 3 years late but yeah, thanks reddit guy!
@@jajasi4752 still use this program daily to automatically backup my whole pc 👍
Thank you very much!!
Thanks.. Well explained.
Thank you sir.
Good video. Thanks!
Hi, thank you for the tutorial, really nicely done. BTW, I once used RealTimeSync in conjunction with FFS. Would you make a tutorial on it, too? I need to help my wife with this and you are much clearer than myself :)
Awesome video, quick question are you restricted to run only one batch job or are you allowed to run as many batch jobs as possible.
I want to run one batch job for syncing my music to an external hard drive and another batch job to sync my music production sample library to an external hard drive.
I don't see why you shouldn't be able to do that. Is there something preventing you from creating more than 1 batch job and running them?
You speed through the process as if people know what you are talking about. The instruction has left me looking for a better instruction video.
EasyUs everysync is easier to use, especially the backup automation, i just set up the time interval and boom, its 1 second, and no need to save out a file then tell windows to run the file automatically (altough you can only set up 1 sync in the free version)
was wondering if you could do this over a different computer but still in the same LAN?
Awesome video
Thank You! Does the program overwrites same filename? I don't want it stuck every time...
is it possible to sync two way automatically whenever any file / folder is added or deleted instantly
I think you can with RealTimeSync. It comes bundled with FreeFileSync. Try it out! There's a help page explaining how to use it.
..woah! .. just a smidge of compression on your audio there.. haha 😂
This one cannot sync to cloud drive always fail.
then try aomei bro
@@keyiwan5947 Nice bot comment... "bro". How much does Aomei pay to shill their products?
Does it let you sync data between 2 external hard drives?
I don't see why it would not. If you can access the drives in Windows, you should be able to sync between them in FreeFileSync.
A big downside seems to be the GUI it has- Syncthing is overall better by the looks of it though i'd have to say their biggest downside is not having a scheduled time range where it will work- only a scan interval (for example every 10 hours) which isnt exactly good since it is since startup time, and it can overlap a lot with active time
What with all the bots proming AOMEI Backupper? Never gonna use their product
Is it
auto backup
Very good. Can i bakup my data on the NAS? ( locked whith user and password)
If the NAS comes with software id use that... As for password protected backups I haven't experimented with them yet. I'll keep it in mind for a future video
@@TroubleChute i know NAS password, it's my NAS :D
I do that. I use windows 10 and I mapped the NAS to a network drive and now I can just treat it like a regular drive. When you map the drive it will ask for your username / password but not after that.
Be very careful with this software. If you accidently switch the folders and press "synchronize", it will delete data to make the folders equal.
😮
Use the funktion mirror instead of 2way synchronisatuion instead 😉
