I was fortunate to purchase two specimen Fireglow Acers that came in 45ltr pots. Both were 1/2 price. I repotted then early Spring this year and “Kapow!!!” They have exploded in growth. They are doing well so far! The Red Leaves along with Emperor 1, just glow with the Sunshine penetrating through the leaves. A fantastic Acer and recommended!

I’m in panhandle of Florida zone 8b. Can you recommend your favorite yellow variety of Japanese maple that does well in full sun please. I want to plant between 2 fireglows for dramatic effect
Summer gold and Hot Blonde are the best yellow for hot areas
Hello mr maple 🍁 thank you for shipping me my fireglow. I am in zone 5 wisconsin. Do you think i can plant it in a place that will get direct sunlight from noon to 5pm?
It will be shaded in the morning and then after 5pm
Im wondering how close to a house this tree can be planted? Looks like its got a bigger spread than I was originally thinking?
Any others you'd recommend for planting about 5 or 6 feet from a house that still grows to at least 8ish feet high? For zone 6b. Thanks!
Greatly depends on how you want it to effect the shape. 6-7 ft is a great distance. 3-4 actually works but will change the shape of the Canopy longterm
@MrMapleShow wow, did not think I could even get away with 3 or 4 feet. I just want it to look like a tree and not be shrubby. Sounds like fireglow would work then if I do 6 feet?! Thanks!!
Do you ship trees to Canada? Do they survive here? I live in Toronto.
We only ship with in the US. Maples works down to zone 5 typically

I planted 2 fireglow maples and one of them has new foliage but it is green. Will it turn red? It gets afternnoon sun in zone 8A.
If it’s been in heavy shade it maybe green but it should be red soon if it’s Fireglow
@@MrMapleShow I believe I have discovered why this is happening. I believe the tree was grafted. I also have a coral bark maple and the foliage is similar. I wish I could cut it off and have another tree.
Would this maple survive down here in South Louisiana, New Orleans area? 70123 zip Bloodgood and Emperors had a tough time last year. Summers only getting hotter.
Yes it should as well as Emperor 1 or better. I do recommend starting it in shade

Is there a dissected leaf jap maple with color like fire glow? Is fire glow cold tolerant for northern Connecticut?
Red Dragon would be a good choice for that
