@@HK-wq1ei the plate that the 509T clamps to is a RMR footprint. You will need a RMR footprint on the slide to install the plate, unless you use a 3rd party plate that direct mounts to the slide (like the Glock mos system and a calculated kinetics plate)
CH makes a plate for it, it will have overhang. If you’re looking for an enclosed optic without overhang, the EPS Carry or SCS Carry would be your two options

I'd like to know how that 509 t fits a M&P 5.7 does it hang off the edge at all?
