- In this very special bonus episode of Project 899 we take it to Dragway 42 in Ohio to give it a shakedown before LS Fest East! Spoiler alert: we accomplished our goal to not only build the car in 9 days, but also dyno and track tested it - surpassing our HP and ET goals.
Huge thanks to Summit Racing for making this project a reality!

Project 899 is an idea we came up with to attempt to take a 1969 Camaro from a basic rolling chassis with a cage to a completed race car in just nine days. If that wasn’t enough of a challenge, we added two stipulations: the car has to make at least 899 horsepower at the wheels, and it has to run 8.99 seconds or quicker in the 1/4-mile. No pressure.

that high rpm 302 ci coyote in McFlurry would run circles around this push rod 2 valve motor.
What's a McFlurry?
There’s a reason the original mirror is attached to the roof.
What is the motor trans combo

Ice vehicle not electric.
Alright, that front end is coming up way too fast and it's upsetting the chassis, which obviously a radial hates. Went the wrong way loosening up the front end, try it at full tight on the compression, and 3/4 tight on the rebound and back the compression down, not the other way around. I think I remember this car being a 4-link? If so Looks like the top bar might want to go up one hole also, keep that nose planted. No reason this thing shouldn't be low 1.20 60's while barely picking up the front wheel, bunny hopping at a 1.50 60' means something is way wrong
Thanks for the info!
