I'm from Elizabeth, South Australia...and nothing makes me prouder than seeing these old beautiful Holdens ripping it round.... Much love to HOLDON...You got me all emotional n shit
I find it interesting that you have to have a fine line between smoke and not having flames, and if you do, you lose points. I love this, wish america had more events like this (Other than cleetus and cars).
I love that cleetus is trying to make the USA burnout comps more like the Aussie ones. Hopefully in a few years we will be able to have both countries competing the same
@16:00 "Flamage," must be an Australian word as I have not heard it on this side of the ditch. And when I looked it up it described a homosexual man. Anthony.
I agree but I guess it comes down to car control at the end of the day. It's easier to hit the wall than to miss it by an inch, I'd say. Sort of like how drift races are scored. I personally love seeing cars wreck corners on the walls though hahaha. That's why I love Cleetus McFarlands burnout comps.
@@butterphli3z I would completely disagree with that, it takes far more skill to just kiss a wall gently and not do a huge amout of damage to your car than it does to whip the back end around close to a wall
because its about skill, thats why its more exciting when its show car tier with expensive paint getting thrown around like its a cheap pos, he's risking more.
Yeah, I agree, whoever edited the audio on this video needs to rethink what the VIEWERS want to see and hear. The constant blabbering on is annoying. Introduce the cars, the drivers, a little back story and stfu until the drivers are done.
@@superhacker101 You obviously weren't around for the early SummerNats. None of those cars had anything like that power, it was just guys and girls with their Holdens and Fords, it was entertaining because the driver required skill. This nonsense takes no skill, just a heavy right foot. But hey, bogans are easily impressed these days.
My dude just claimed that driving a 800hp methane/nitro car on small tyres takes no skill. Shut up and enjoy ya drive to work tomorrow in ya Honda you goose.
Excuse me... Where is the "awesome droiving" they are saying? Yeah it might be hard to do a donut in tight spot... Sorry I mean spinout in tight spot. Make a circle and make them drive that in speed and just control the car there. Oh wait it is called drifting 🤣🤣
"This will have a negative effect on his scores; when the tyres are on fire, they're not producing enough smoke!" I love being Australian.
i think fire should give extra points not gonna lie
I see fear lived upto his name 😂😂😂😂

It’s beautiful watching such a machine show Aussie tradition with pride 🍻
Fellow Lizbeth inhabitant. We might not do much good here, but we probably produce a lot of champions at burnouts lol.
Dear @SUMMERNATS - I suggest a FLIR / IR camera to film the cars inside the smoke for a cooler shot/view on whats going on! :)))
