Pier Fishing RIBBON FISH - CATCH, CLEAN & COOK

I made my way down to VA pier planned on catching some Spanish Mackerels and the unsuccessful trip turned into an awesome trip. Met some very nice and kind people. Got a couple more subscribers to my channel and CAUGHT SOME BIG OL' RIBBON FISH.

I use to catch it back in Caribbean we had snapper grouper king fish but none is as sweet as ribbonfish

it's surprising that someone actually prefer ribbon fish over snapper and grouper... I do really like ribbon fish too and this is the first I hear from someone else. Cheers!

Good video I love all types of fish just for some reason catching them back in the day when everyone threw them away or used it as bait I don't think I could ever eat one lol 😂😂

They do make great baits for King macks where I'm from too. But hey, we only live once so close your eyes and give it a try. I'm sure you'll be surprised ;)! Cheers!

Tip make cut at vent cut off head from top guts pull straight out.

Thanks, they are pretty thick here around mid-July to the end of August. Some were caught all the way till end of September.
