which no-code platform do you / would you use?
Thanks for video. Hey what are you using to edit videos?
framer
None. At the end of the day coding is not that difficult. Why not just use astro and tailwind and forget about all this crap?
The ones that didn't pay you.
*Edit:* We forget the fact that we're talking with real people online. Some people said harsh things. Don't mind them. After writing this comment, I thought I was unkind too. I apologise. :(
You produce quality content that is both enjoyable and educational. You didn't execute the idea well this time, so what? You will do a better job next time.
nextjs
The sponsorship takes away from the premice of the video. You're constantly questioning yourself while watching the video about the authenticity of choice of tests instead of focusing on the video itself.
Also not using Squarespace as one of the platforms for comparison which is Wix's largest competitor is a bit fishy
Yes but precisely because of that very fact she probably got a bag from the sponsor. Who can blame her, it’s capitalism baby, sometimes you gotta pay the bills
gotta pay bills
Same.
Totally agreed
Babe wake up, Juxtopposed uploaded a 9 minute Wix Studio ad
I think you went around this sponsorship video in the wrong way. Instead of making a video trying to make Wix look better by unfairly dissing the competition, you could've made a redesign video in your usual fashion but using Wix and making it a big reveal at the end or something.
there are three possible reasons, a) wix is shit and she couldn't do a redesign, b) she just wanted money without really doing anything except for talking, c) both
>Platform comparisons
>One of the platforms is paying you
Yeahhh nah that ain't how you do a comparison. Heavily biased.
The way you narrate this seems to heavily favor Wix Studio...
its a sponser what do you want this video is using all of the marketing that neded like show wiks first so evrything you will see you will compare you will do relative to the first thing oso webflow is one of the biggest comptitor to wiks and is show as garbege in this video
but you know man its all for the mony💰🤑💰
Huh!
They payed so… 😂
Framer and webflow should have paid up more
"no-code platform" *starts coding anyway*
FR
tho they are "no-code" platforms, they are accessible for users without having to code ANYTHING. Jux just couldnt help herself but coding a new solution which hasnt been accounted for by the platform (yet). I see no problem with that, just a generic solution to the unexplored
Well, you can get away with no code on them but I like knowing how you can add code if you need to
This is not it, Jux.
When I heard: "And Wix Studio, which is the sponsor of this video". I already knew what time it was..

Not bad to take advertising but this comes as slightly dishonest by the way is its presented.
A video just showing what your sponsor can do without doing a half baked comparison would be so much better
Full time creators need income tho. The video starts by telling you its an ad.
Really disappointed that this is just a 9-minute advertisement.
Really enjoy the content on your channel so this is quite disappointing to see. There's nothing wrong with a properly disclosed paid promotion, but there's a reason that most channels who engage in paid content placement don't make direct comparison videos such as these. Wix gave you a monetary incentive to advertise the features and benefits of their own platform, but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume they didn't encourage you to turn the video into a hit piece on other no-code web editors. Don't confuse an incentive to promote one thing with an incentive to minimize and degrade another - that's when things get shady and dishonest.
Hope you evaluate your relationship with sponsors going forward and keep delivering excellent content.
The opinion and comparison felt a bit biased
This entire video feels incredibly forced. It's framed as a comparison between the three platforms but really it's just highlighting the features of wix while purposefully highlighting the ugly parts of the other tools.
I hope you're able to get better sponsorship deals in the future :')
I feel like this can be a good learning experience because Jux's videos are always super detailed and informative, and they gotta get paid but the feedback in the comments are helpful to see the ad didn't work. I, too, felt like the comparison was disingenuous and not really a comparison. Like even the project felt set up to favor Wix's strengths (like an ad is supposed to).
Jux, I hope you get lots more sponsors going forward, but I also hope the approach you take is one which fits better with your community.
All I (and everyone else) wants is a free, open-source low or no code platform that generates raw html, css and js files that I can host statically.
can we talk about the fact that in this showcase framer is the only one to have real progressive blur
I've found that once you can actually code all these tools do is get in your way.
I think for ‘simpler’ projects, makes sense to use a nocode tool.
@@thierryntoh24 only for people who don't know how to code. If you know how to code, you can do a lot more without it without having to wrestle with the clunky UI a lot of these tools are pestered with.
I use webflow for a living and know how to code. But I dont do pages with complex systems. Mostly landing ages for residential proyects or basic services. So yea, I agree. Also, They are their own language, just like coding but more visual. For front-end. I feel like its a pretty cool tool.
@@barbilachula Webflow is even better if you know how to code with all three css, html and js. I tried it, and although I liked it, I ran into a good amount of bugs so I decided it was nice but too slow for my taste. This was more than a year ago, so maybe they improved the UX/DX.
Wix has been a nightmare for me for this exact reason
jux, during the whole video i questioned whether or not the things you did actually had easier ways to do it on framer and webflow.
in a comparison video, i would have liked to see the strengths of webflow and framer not just wixstudio.
I really love your videos. I truly do. But when you make a comparison video of three different no-code platforms, I think you should make sure you're not biased and that's hard, when one of the platforms paid you to do the video.
This feels wrong...
Thanks for the comparison! I’ll be using Framer from now on.
The narration is so biased.💀
throwing my own opinion into the pile that this ain't how you do sponsors, chief
Can you link all the websites in the description and not just Wix?
I would prefer you to compare coding a website manually vs using wix, or making a website redesign and then creating it in wix.
Keep up the great work!
Bit disappointed, I was hoping for a fair evaluation of the tools.
2:39 I love making my phone mew 🤫
I had to double check what channel was this!
Loved the video Jux. But gotta agree with all the comments.. this was a bad move :(
This is quite disappointing. The video seems very biased, and you can't claim to make no-code content when you're also developing tools for programmers. It's ironic that you still had to write code, despite your "no-code" claims.
But she didn’t write code, she got an AI to do it?
no-code solution - continues to open vscode
Also it kinda defeats the purpose of comparing different style of no-code-builders and then portraying webflow as some kind of antiquated not working as well product.
You have way more control over everything in webflow, while the UI might be more challenging to udnerstand, it forces you to think in terms of HTML, CSS and I would have never made the jump of being able to code my fully own custom websites, if it weren't for webflow
Impressive, very nice, let's see web page performance test
I just never use no code, maybe a renderer for markdown, or whatever, but I always have it based on a codebase
this video felt so off because of the wix sponsor
would be curious to hear your unbiased opinion on low-code/no-code vs coding.
or better yet, designing no-code tools to edit design aspect of a website, or at least design aspects of single posts. Like in a rich text editor
Yep, this was not it
I'm impressed how much content and information you managed to fit in 10 minutes.
i agree with the rest who are respectful about it. id prefer it if it wasnt a comparison. it made it uncomfortable to watch. But still, appreciate your videos
Thank you for this video. You were given an opportunity and I'm glad you took it; I know it must have meant a lot to you.
grabbing one or two cat wallpapers is a must have now. Incredible advertising Jux 😂👍
As a weblfow user its mindblowing to know that you can mask the blur in webflow using simple css custom property??? THANKS JUXTA❤

as a framer user, you sold me
Looks like your future is promising. I just subbed. Keep it going.
Another great video juxt
how do you made your wallpapers support depth effect ??
as a programmer I'm crying
The certification GAGAGAGAGA
Damn, you've burned some asses :D
webflow is no-code, but it becomes A LOT more if you know how to code.
Despite agreeing with others about sponsored videos not being comparison videos, I do still appreciate the effort you put into the video itself and how you were still able to show us some basic features of each program
Hey! We're being mad here! No rational comments!
@@isaacdruin So far I've only read to-the-point and constructive comments.
wait wait wait ... pause a second. noone is talking about this fade-blur ... blur filter usually blurs its content children !?
EDITED - i found the blur gradient component, I did NOT know this!
filter: blur() - blurs CONTENT of an element, i.e. child dom elements
but with
backdrop-filter: blur() - you can blur anything UNDERNEATH an element
then additionally use mask-image created by a gradient to selectively blur
Love your content but this is not it
Despite the sponsored content (gotta pay those bills, right?), this channel has everything it takes to become one of the biggest design channels out there. It's informative, the narration is on point, and hey, there are cats. What's not to love?
really like your videos, but this is just dishonest and disappointing
My Oshi just dropped.
Almost 200k subs 😢, soon I can’t gatekeep you.
Meh, usually love her videos but she really dropped the ball with this one.

why is nobody answering the real question, is Wix is actually better than the other two?
can you drop a video focusing on mobile ui?
its a sponser what do you want this video is using all of the marketing that neded like show wiks first so evrything you will see you will compare you will do relative to the first thing oso webflow is one of the biggest comptitor to wiks and is show as garbege in this video

I'm not surprised that wix is surprisingly better than everything else, in a video wix sponsered
vc conhece q plataforma flutter flow? acho que seria interessante pra vc usar, ele tem interface pra site, app desktop e mobile
I'll just go and make my website with a crazy infinite horizontal scrolling panel, and just have a scroll-right style site... oh so not allowed?
Why did she not use flutterflow?
One big mistake i made was learning to make website but not selling websites😂

What about odoo??
Oh man...
No Wordpress?
bruh , i'm gonna learn backend , i'm done with front end
Goated
this is ridiculous
I don't feel like this is a sell out towards Wix Studio. As a newbee I been using Webflow, it's too complicated and needs coding skills (and it's just like that in the video).
03:16 How to get the DIV centering certificate? XDDDD
I'm asking for desktop adaptations of these!
@juxtopposed, could you pls upload the wallpapers to the backdrop app? ❤ Love em
You got me at the Responsive AI feature, that’s insane. Ngl I just can’t get over the boredom of using no-code solutions, but I can’t deny their usefulness.
A bag is a bag
Since the backgrounds are a solid colour it’s easy for me to edit it, but do you know if you could make options that fit an iPad screen? 😊
i know its an ad, and i know it might be not all-rounded, but its still a good video deserving a like.
dog wallpapers?
discovered you yesterday, watched all your content... the memes the content and the beautiful designs, love em' all
2:40 make your phone mew🤫🧏
under 1 hour gang?
I have a coding background and therefore feel quite comfortable developing most of my websites using Webflow, but I have to admit, I've been sleeping on these other no-code platforms. I think there's a good argument for using all three for different scenarios / clients.
I honestly thought you'd speak about what you like and didn't like about each one of the tools. Not sure what to make of this, but get that 💰
it was still entertaining.
b-b-b-bruh
These videos are too good. Keep'em coming! I can't believe I'm watching this kind of content FOR FREE.
She's definitely my brain crush now.
You can't believe you're being advertised to by your "brain crush" for free?
You might want to go touch some grass, guy.
Yes it seem like a bias comparison. Still a good video and I learnt quite a bit.
Sorry, but no
I use wordpress and webflow
I both love and hate them.
I hate the experience but love the flexibility and the level that I can manage most of the things.
I try to move to the easier platform but at the end I always have to bounce back to the solid one.
Don't push Jux too hard.
Just because she like to use wix too doesn't mean that she want you to move all your tech stack to wix.
I like it too when I try other easy to build platform, it such refreshing feeling.
But I know I cannot rely on them too much.
grab your bag... but i think people could use a video how to make an online portfolio (i mean they can use this as reference) but a real video about that would be great for designers starting out.
🤔
Make your phone mew🤫🧏♂️
This was a brilliant class in designing. Really helpful to know how different design platforms work!
The video didn’t look biased to me
Just showed Wix was a bit easier and had what was needed compared to the others
Maybe for very complex projects Webflow could have been better
:(
