How to Tape Your Stick | Taylor Cummings

This is how I tape my Lacrosse stick. Depending on your position, this might vary but in general, you want to do what works best for you.

Question: My daughter just started out in her 1st year. I need taping ideas that would assist is telling her top hand where it needs to be for a shot. Should I take your tape model and extend the upper shaft taping an inch or two downward or???

Thank you for this video! I know it was made a long time ago but I have really been debating taping my stick. Does it ruin the grip my stick already has on it? I don’t want to do something that will ruin it😂

Is the tape easy to get off of the stick, and does it leave sticky stuff where it was after you take it off?

+Midnight Rose it's definitely easy to get off- you just pull it off. But it can leave a residue for a few days once it's off

do you know how to prevent blistering after taping your shaft? i just taped mine using this tutorial, and it may be the type of tape, but i just got a blister on my thumb after doing an hour of wall ball. this normally doesn't happen when i'm at practice or practicing

your hands will get used to it! the first time it's just about adjusting to the grip
