So I personally think that the â Into The Fireâ part means that heâll walk into owning up to his mistakes (his fire) and maturing into a better person. Compared to who was say eight years ago, his (fire) made him into a completely different man and heâs way better now.
Also him running over his band members to me symbolizes how he was willing to risk his band mateâs safety and careers to get the drugs/alcohol he was addicted to.
This is very much accurate!
That's what i took from it as well. The line "i wouldn't take back a moment, not one miserable moment" is a big indicator as to that being the meaning. Speaking from experience when you go through a change as dramatic as getting clean after a long period of addiction, when you're on the other side of it and have changed into a much better version of yourself and you look back at the hell you went through even though it was brutal you really wouldn't change a thing because you know it is what molded you into the version of yourself you currently are proud of.
Into the Fire is the second song in a trilogy consisting of; "Alone in A Room," "Into the Fire," and "Vultures."

i love Danny as their vocalist, but I think you should check out a song off âThe Blackâ album. Get a vibe for the other vocalist they had when Danny left for a little!
Can't forget that when Danny was gone he sobered up and got vocal coaching came back and pulled off this performance and proved everyone wrong rest in peace to Dennis of course a devastating loss to the world both have proved again and again they both have the most insane voices in metal

I always felt that this song was about Danny's previous path of self destruction or perception of his distancing from the other band mates. Even though the music isn't what we've come to know as AA, the reunion of Danny back to AA was heart warming and exciting.
When you were talking about walking into the fire and coming out on the other side, I thought of the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the Bible!
This song to me is the perfect blend of their new style to their old one. Very innovative, but also staying true to the music that got them to the point they're at.
It's amazing to think this man tore a vocal chord, had vocal surgery, and his vocals got waaaay better afterward. Danny Worsnop has some of the best clean vocals in metalcore, but at one point was hated by many AA fans because he got lazy and didn't apply himself. Their music style has changed quite a bit over the years, but Danny's life seems to have gotten so much better. I'm happy for him. Danny was very conflicted for a long time, and this album shows a lot of what he had gone through emotionally during this period. He and Ben Bruce almost lost their friendship before he rejoined AA. He literally was at war with himself. I think Alone in a Room and Room 129 would say a lot about this experience from his pov

I've come out with the burns and scars and this song always showed me that he went through the self destructive phase when he was drinking himself to death and left AA and came back strong

The one with the black jacket is the old Danny that left the band and hurt his bandmates with that. The one with the white jacket is the new Danny who came to the rescue by joining the band again.
So bassically Danny use to be addicted to drugs an alcohol and there was alot of drama going on within the band so in 2015 he decided to quit asking alexandria and focus on his solo career, so he figuratively left the band for dead (as shown in the music video) in 2017 he finally came back clean and sober, this was the first single they released of that album. Its about danny looking back on all the destruction qnd pain he caused the band mambers. Its about him owning up to the mistakes he made. The good clean sober Danny (white jacket) vs the Bad drug addicted crazy Danny (black jacket) its about him facing his demons and coming out on top

Ok so he had a big problem with alcohol and drug abuse and he neglected the band and his fans then he went to rehab and when he got out he felt so ashamed and low that he fucked up so much so this song is about him jumping into the fire he created to simmer it down while righting any wrongs he can.

Asking Alexandria's self title album from 2017 was so great. It was an awesome follow up of From Death To Destiny (2013). Like A House On Fire (2020) is nothing more than a radio rock kind of generic music. They fell flat and I doubt they will recover from such record. Big fan of their work but their latest album is not good.
Rumor is they're working with joey sturgis for the next album and its gonna be a return to form, i think like a house on fire was for them to play during huge stadium tours, but they're gonna come back haaard, trust
