I was wondering you can consider making a vid about how to make a good entrance to a park, jw and/or jp era, I’ve been having some trouble getting a good entrance to my park to start off a build. You can even incorporate mods, if you can that would be awesome! Besides that, love your vids (Very inspiring)!

I must admit half of mine would probably be filled by paleo accurate edits of non-movie dinos like the Acro. The dino nerd in me just can't resist the temptation

A mod I would dream of : gates that fits the size of the fence they are on. Always found ridiculous the gates two times as big as the low security fences.

JP era overhaul does more than enhanced mixed eras and the author showed new tools in next version. instant incubation and 3 hatching slots from one upgrade

Oh I never checked out that mod because from the name, it doesn't do what I was looking for so I never clicked on it.
@@EvolutionSquare The name is a bit weird yes but its just mixed eras for sandbox and challenge with extra sandbox stuff
New subscriber, definitely want get some of these mods on my laptop lol is there a mod specifically for the Return to Jurassic Park helicopter pad? I've never liked how we can only incubate only 5 dinos at a time when there's 3 default Hatcheries on Isla Sorna, making the total we should be able to incubate 15. I normally go for 5 lol

One thing i would love to see, I have no idea if it would even be possible. A collision mod, that gives dinosaurs collision, because the lack of it is my biggest gripe with the game by far beyond other general AI/behaviour problems
Evo would you be down to review some builds? I recently did one I'm kinda proud of.
Hopefully the gods answer our prayers and churn out a "Place Anywhere" mod or "No Constraints" mod.

I love all these new mods! I do have one question, is the 'Better looking fences' mod compatible with 'Invisible fences'? I keep hearing that you have to use one or the other so I wanted to ask here.
I use mixed era's + better fences + invisible fence (and then pick one of the JP fences to replace, because the better fences mod replaces the JW fences)
@@EvolutionSquare I can't use mixed era since I don't have that DLC, but I've always wanted to make natural, no-human dinosaur landscapes, so invisible fences would help a lot. Thanks for the clarification!

I would have loved if they did something similar to Skyrim if they actually have a mod menu where you can actually download stuff on your console. But we all know they're not going to do that.

2 questions (yes I’m back): where do you install the modern path mod and where do u install the better fences mod
pretty sure in both cases you just paste them over the default ovldata folder and the necessary files will get replaced.

Yeah they work fine together, they don't use the same files

I replaced one of the JP fences with the invisible fence. MR Troodon's fences mod only changes JW fences.

is there a mod that makes the dinosaur AI better? Im tired of seeing the dinosaur standing completely still untill they are hungry. When they are hungry they sprint as fast as they can to a dino feeder for no reason
also I reccomend torvosaurus and pachyrhinosaurus for additional dinosaurus
I wish if some day the modder show us how to add new dinosaurs just like the modders of GTA SA made with the weapons, vehicles and pedestrians
With the JW and JP eras combined I'd probably make it fade from JW to JP like time travel.
The dinosaur behavior change mod by mr trodon is really good

Im mad bec im on epic games and for my extra species mods to work i need to have all the dlc the only one thats work without crashing my game is the dimetrodon
12:20 just want to suggest something to people, theres a program called WeMod that you can download to give instant incubation, instant research and instant anything in the game. It also lets you place buildings without path connections and a lot more. The mod works perfectly fine with all the mods on this list and anything on nexus. I use and and I highly recommend it

I have an idea for your future parks:
You lower the terrain making a narrow gap, then put the monorail down, (obviously the ground has to be at the height of the monorail), and then it goes almost through the ground, so it looks like a train.
I hope you like the idea, sorry if you don't understand it(bc i have a bad english) :D

Hey quick question where do you drop the pachyrino mod file😅? I open ovldata and put it amongst all the content files (content 0 to all the paiddlcs) and my game just crashes. What specific file do I put the pachyrino mod in?
you just put it in the ovldata folder. Just like it says in the mod description

Been saying they needed to step up their game since I grew up on Operation Genesis and this game a decade later is lacking allll the polish and even a open modding community. Which is where I started to learn some script language and coding almost 20 years ago.
Which mod are the height lines part of? I have enhanced terrain tools, but dont see the lines.

I really hope frontier dosen't give up support on this game. Because this amazing game is pretty limited to console players. As we can't have mods
the only support you can still count on are some bug fixes (if even that). I really don't think you should consider "support" as anything more than that. Frontier is not going to be the one to make mods possible on console. If it happens, it will be thanks to the modders.
Some mods seem very convoluted and difficult to install. Worse than getting Silent Hunter V up. Terrain and dual eras seem like must haves.

at the moment there's not that much point to that, since we can't do custom buildings. Walking through each other's parks in an online function would be good.

I honestly love that fact the modder’s are able to completely to add features, that are LITERAL GAME CHANGING fractures into. This amazing game and hopefully if Frontier see these “Modder’s” making there game so much more re-playable. That just means kinda like you stated in your video Evo that this, will inspire them to make a much better the sequel.
