    Knowledge of keys, chord structure, and color notes is essential to embellishing correctly. You do it beautifully, and I have a lot to learn from you!

    Thanks Jonny! Such a brilliant idea to change the 12/8 feel to a 4/4 contemporary style. Love the chords. Thankful to join the PWJ-platform.

    Very nice! I want to learn this, do you have a sheet of this arrangement? I'm going through the video but with a sheet I wouldn't have to rewind as much.

    Hi Jonny, I am a keyboard player (amateur, don’t get excited) would your lessons be any good to me as I play chords in the left hand and do not read base line on piano ? 🇬🇧🇬🇧

    • @stevenh9178
      @stevenh9178 Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, join. You won't regret it. I'm a pwj member and nothing requires you to read music if you don't want to. But all lessons are presented like this with video demonstration. And there's a lot about chords and melody line: lead sheet, and how to build arrangement or improvise from the simple score.

      I hope you took Steven's advice. I've been a member for two-plus years! There is so much more. Jonny often has specials, too.

    Add2 ??? Never heard of it. Add9 is much more common or maybe Sus2. But Add2? ^^ This is the first appearance for me here.
    The 9th is the oregano on your pizza... beside the dough, tomato (3rd) and cheese (5th). Check out the blues pizza method. ;-)

    Can you try transforming it into something enjoyable? The "contemporary" rhythm you changed it to is meh for this song, and clearly you got the chops to do whatever.

  • @melodytalks3432
    @melodytalks3432 Před 10 měsíci

    Disappointment as the melody was muffled and jittery. This song is so Devin that if played with right tempo combined with nice cords then can be listened to over and over. Sorry
