What a Spectacular little Pony. He had so much heart and he sure made those jumps look like a slice Of cake !! He will be missed terribly for sure. RIP Teddy
I was standing at the Head of the Lake when Teddy and Karen went through that year. . .what an awesome experience to see them go, and to hear the crowd cheering for the Super Pony! It still breaks my heart that he is gone!
Watching this makes me wanna cry. He was such an amazing lil pony :) teachin all them big bad horses a lesson wherever he went :) rip teddy. your missed.
Corr, i was welling up abit watching that little man. Everyone absolutely loved him and i don't think i ever heard crowds cheering on a horse as much as they did for him... and rightly so. A wee man, with the biggest heart. Amazing. RIP Teddy.
This little pony was amazing! He must've had springs in his little legs. He had the BIGGEST heart. ♥ I really wish i got to meet him. We will miss you Teddy! :D
If only he was still here and was at the olympics, than we wouldn't suck in the eventing and our team be losing!!!! He was such a special pony I know he would havebeen able to make the U.S. team awesome with all his heart and talent. RIP Superpony!
What an unbelievable athlete, and what I huge heart... He absolutely deserved to be Horse (Pony really) of the Year for USEF. :) I'm pretty much in love with him.
BIONIC PONY!! Springs for legs. Heart of a giant. Completely and utterly BESPOKE for eventing. Something non-riders should know: Ponies are harder to ride due to their lower center of mass. And there’s less to wrap your legs around. Yet they stay sounder longer, and have better recovery times than larger horses. Dunno his actual height, but he’s a little guy with the jump and gallop and heart of a giant.
good ole Teddy! I love Mrs.Karren and him! My trainer and Karren are friends so some of my friends got to visit Teddy in his winter home. Mrs.Karren and the O'Conner team are probably moving there right now. My trainers horse is with her now and is going Advanced next year.
From what I read, he was being led to an arena for morning training. Spooked and got away, then slipped on the way back to the barn and cut his leg so bad that it severed the tendons and ligaments.
Yeah. He died May 28. He was at Karen and David O'Connor's farm in The Plains, Va. While away from the barn he spooked and broke free from his handlers and was found with a severed hind tendon, two cut arteries and other injuries. RIP Beautiful Pony
@Lizzie200292 oh and another thing, my horse is a gelding :( so not much use to you there. His sire is Arms And The Man (non raced TB) and his dam La Faarette (arab). He was bred in Wales and his sire (Arnie) was in horse and hound as a recommended sire, thats gotta be good :)
This pair makes cross-country look as simple as those video games I played when I was younger. RIP Teddy.
This little horse just loved his job! I love seeing horses have such heart. RIP Teddy!
What a Spectacular little Pony. He had so much heart and he sure made those jumps look like a slice Of cake !! He will be missed terribly for sure. RIP Teddy
