I’m so sorry that all the legit people have become the laughing stock. But throwing a bone to the dog is the 5 yr extension. It’s an intended benefit for others and only an unintended consequence for the employment category. Shame on congress. Make or break why shouldn’t Ramaswamy be supported.

dude, it is their country, their rules....u r a legal citizen of India...who is stopping you from going back home? u dont have to worry about GC there. but, folks like you and I are staying here because USA is still a much better option for us....no point in crying...just take it and live life 1 day at a time....cheers
It is not enough. We need to get our asylum case resolved fast with the immigration office. Why I have to wait many years to get the decision on my case? Is it fair to wait longer?
The AOS mentioned here is "adjustment of status under INA 245".
They should provide this with travel documentation, people have been living in USA years and they can’t even take a vacation to see family, add travel documents or make people change theirs statues
USCIS knows that they will be extending EAD's for Indians for decades...Makes sense to give it every 5 years than every 2 years.
I think, any change is good. 5 years EAD is a welcome step.
Feel they will exclude the employment based category EAD cause all the urgency is for providing work authorization to Illegal immigrants that are pouring into the country! That's all this Govt. cares about

Only if you filed AOS/I-485. Where did you come up with this 2 years news ? People have been waiting with approved I140 for 8-10 years and you want it in 2 years...lol

Mr. Reddy sir, how can we all fix this AP delays issue and also they are separating AP renewal application from EAD (C9) renewal application even when we filed both together. My previous one was combo card but now they gave only EAD card in couple of weeks but AP is pending. I have to cancel my travel plans due to this. If they delay AP renewal process then why can’t they allow us to travel on receipt or implement auto extension or long term validity of AP. By separating AP renewal application from EAD, they will issue 1 year paper based AP so this will cause more pile up every year because GC dates retrogressed and many applicants need AP validity all the time when AOS 485 pending.
Can you hell us how to get this fixed. Can we all hire your lawfirm to fix this issue? Suggest us, thank you sir.
