- I'm trying those blacked-out LED tail lights EURO Style on my Mercury Marauder 2003, Installation was easy! I have a problem with the blinking speed (it goes too fast) on turning signal, even with the block connected on the 2nd bulb wire. If you have a solution for it I will appreciate!
Also fits Mercury Grand-Marquis and Ford Crown-Victoria from the Phanter Platform.
I'm french Canadian, speaking English only one time per year lol..
(It was very dark outside, thanks to my Sigma 16mm f1,4 and my 50mm f0,98 on my GH4 Lumix)

Yes the Marauder tail lights are in fact darker than the Crown Victorias, also including the trunk panel reverse lights.
I think if the Euros led tail lights had a dark red housing as the OEMs instead of the clear see through housing, it'll have a better look on the Marauder. Especially when the tail lights and brake lights are not lit. What you think?
in the daylight I think I prefer the newer one ..they fit with the blacked out look of the marauder and add a touch of modern feel. I think I'll stay with them for a while!
Marauders came with smoked lenses from the factory... everywhere. EDIT Oh, OEM for the win!
I had those taillights on my marauder for about 2 years now....
As far as front corner lights, Vic ones have one bulb, Marquis/marauder have 2.
The tail lights are slightly different as well I believe, Vic having 1 more hole I'm not sure

Oh wow, they look soooooo cool and bad ass. I just got mine almost 3 weeks ago and they are tinted, too. But it doesn't give out the red orange, yellowish effect like what you have when the blinker or hazard lights are on. Depressing the break should create the same effect, too. I am down right disappointed that I spent about $200 (for everything) and it did not give me what I was looking for AND YOU GOT THEM ON EBAY just like I did (WTF)? Granted, I haven't had much luck when it comes to accessories for my 05 CV Lx Sport...everything seem to be up to 04's or from 06's and up. And what do you see missing? 05. How frustrating and now that we have the same product and I am not having the same result really pisses me off...not at you heh heh. Can you show exactly the wiring and the other device that came with the lights and where you placed them exactly. My brother put them on for me and he's definitely no idiot and he works on his own cars to fix and repair. I believe it's possible he may have overlooked something (of course, I can't imagine because he sort it out in every feasible way). My lights do not give that look at all and they sucked during the day. You cannot even tell they are on and driver's would have to rely on the 3rd light to see when I break or make a turn signal lane change. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Note. Its probably the camera thts giving it tht color effect and not the tail light itself.
There are two different tinted versions like these. Make sure you have purchase the newer redesigned ones and not the older version.
The Vic lights are wired different, and everything is usually 2003-2005, the thing with the 05 is the manufacturing date, then you Kno if it's considered an 06 0r an 04 partswise.
@@Skrillioso746 i jus happen tto come across the video and I had no idea there were comments. To answer your question, do I habe the newer ones? I have the exact same one lime this dude in the video. When I purchased it, it asked for the informatuon ab o ut my crown. Anyway I am not 100% happy with them. The quality sucks for being LED and not as piercing bright like i see in these newer cars However, it is doable for night purposes and mid evenings or gloomy gray overcast not so good.

The tails look great(tubes) but they are way too dim to be safe during the day.

reverse lights are beside the reverse plate. I think these is a spot for the one under the red light.. there is a empty space with a deflector!

no! originals bulbs the car is 100% factory, but the sun was going down!
The design on these are good and I like them -- unfortunately like many Chinese eBay special tail lights/headlights, the brightness isn't very good. The difference between tail light and brake light brightness isn't very much. In my Grand Marquis I have stock tail light assemblies but with Philips ZEVO LED bulbs inside.

@@marquis9007 It did, I wired an electronic turn signal flasher to fix it. There are tutorials and pictures online. Just gotta cut and splice 2 wires.
What year model do they work for ?

So which taillight you think looks better on the Marauder in 1st person??? My Marauder has a cracked taillight and I'm debating on replacing them with the aftermarket you have in the video.

Yeah I needed a resistance to fix the hyperflash
@@TheAlexScotti This doesn't use resistors, just an electronic flasher. resistors can become hot and short out or cause fires. This is a preferred method

So here's the latest, I hate the euro style taillights...well mine anyway. It didn't past inspection-something about it light cannot been seen from 200 feet. Well ain't that some sheeeeeeeee it. I'll be putting on my original taillights and going to trash the euro light. Not worth giving them away for free...it doesn't deserve to be put on another car. I will put it out of its misery. Chitty ass lights. LED my ass. Worst product ever purchased for my vic. Those who have them and are happy, congrats to you.
