Autistic people may have a tendency to elope or wander, clinically speaking its an escape or lack of awareness behavior. I would hope LE is investigating but in no way, shape or form should any part of the search be scaled back.
As the mother of an Autistic child this fills me with rage. If this was my child I would have to be sedated and forced to stop looking. I truly hope no foul play was involved, my heart is just broken.
I've been following this story from the beginning, and my heart aches for Sebastian and all those who love him,as well as everyone involved in the search. I have been praying for his safe homecoming, this is an all too frequent occurance in this country. "Saint Jude,help of the hopeless, aid us in our distress" Please let this boy be found safe🙏

I asked this in the beginning and was told this case didn't meet the criteria for an Amber Alert. 😢 I know many people have been volunteering to look for Sebastian, even retracing areas, and people checking their home security cameras and videos. It's terrible that he hasn't been seen at all on anyone's security cameras and videos for the past 8 days. I know they were hoping that he might possibly have been seen in someone's, even if he wasn't there anymore, it would have been good to at least know where he was spotted then. 😢 I pray he is found safe and unharmed quickly. ❤
I’m wondering if they dropped him off in another state. I have a family member with autism and he was lost for weeks because he didn’t know where he was and nobody knew who he was.
He hasnt been seen on anyones ring camera leaving the neighborhood, no suspicious car was seen and traced so he wasnt picked up.. if he was on foot he would have been found. Now they scale back AND search a landfill. They 100% know hes likely not alive and have something. The stepfather was "working out of town" that morning but does that mean he had been gone all night? Or he left the house before 6:30 to go work somewhere distant? If he was home- left at any point between when sebastian went to bed and when he wasnt found at 630 then he is involved. He is saying the same things in the interview as other men who have killed kids have said. I dont think mom is involved, stepdad knows something
Why is any angle of a search being scaled back for one of the most vulnerable people in society? Autistic people can elope or wander however please stay vigilant. Someone to consult if not already would be a BCBA &/or other clinician who understands Autism & behaviors associated with it. That may lead to thinking outside of the typical box which many like myself have to do every day in order to care for my ASD child. It makes me sad to say & maybe its just my mood of late but would this happen if the child was neuro-typical? Why are parents & caretakers supposed to accept less?
Tell the public the truth. You don't know the kid took off at night. You have the media telling us to check cameras for that evening or night. You don't tell them to check for parents vehicle going by. Also how much were you influenced by biological father that's a cop that would not want to believe he left kid with a killer. So you tell yourself hey we searched house and talked to neighbors. One of our own isn't very suspicious so no need to drag parents names into this. The same parents that suddenly have something to say when foul play becomes more of a consideration.

Somebody doesn’t want him found. So they’re reallocating resources in the search for him to be more effective.

I think your mistake was to only consider it a wander- off.. he's 15 and high functioning. I'd look elsewhere. Start at home.
