- We witnessed history in Vitoria, as in the game against ASVEL Villeurbanne, Baskonia’s guard Codi Miller-McIntyre registered just the fourth triple-double in EuroLeague history. Not only that, he also recorded 20 assists, which broke the EuroLeague’s all-time record for assists in a single game. Gytis looks at how spectacular is this achievement exactly.

ASSISTS are inflated in the EURO LEAGUE as well..EUROPE assists were a lot harder to get than the NBA..it seems EUROPE is destroying the game for stats..they are already allowing carrying and palming and now they call assist to everything
I am a Euroleague fan and at the same time NBA fan, BUT ONLY in the play-offs. The regular season of NBA is a circus. Your conclusions about the two leagues and their differences are 100% correct. Well done for your good work!
I agree with the point that regular season in NBA is a circus in some moments, that means that it's easier to make triple doubles, where they're able to dribble after received the pass and that counts as an assistance.
On the other hand, I'm able to tell you a couple of details about assistances in Europe.
If someone pass from back court as far as somebody on the front court, doesn't matter how many dribbles this one does as far as he score, is considered assistance.
In addition, if someone passes to other inside the zone, this one can dribble as far as he get the basket, that is also considered as an assistance.
I'm Spanish, but hope you too understand.
@@danielcarronsolano4667 buenos dias Daniel! I have searched the "assist issue". It's more difficult to give you an assist from the Statistical Service in Euroleague, NOT in NBA.
U explain the differences really good
I watch both euroleague and nba and ur videos r to a key
great perfomance in euroleague history triple-double is coming here) Baskonia showes cool style of playing these year
Heck yeah! Good job to the player! So nice to hear 🎉😃
As a greek it's really disappointing that we saying every year that we will get a medal and not get anything in the end cause now we have lack of talent but now with coach spanoulis i hope that it will change wish we had the effectiveness of serbia , Spain Lithuania etc
He was in Gaziantep last year🎉
nice video
They can hire a team of 100 people to correct the old stats relatevly to the new stats
The young player know the statrules so they can play for them, of course, BUT great players are still great players ,eben if the statsevaluation changes
So Vuicic had 2 TDs with the old assists rules?
That Maccabi team was stacked
Amazing record
amazing??? most of his assists arent assists...FIBA is now copying NBA in rigging assists
It would be interesting to see proper Europe vs. NBA series, something like 4 teams from both NBA and EL, across matches with final four finish, but with FIBA rules and refs.
As far as i know, these kind of matches always(?) gets played with NBA refs and rules?
Yes they played with NBA rules but best NBA teams would demolish best Euroleague team the talent of best players are just to much yes role players are similar level but superstar are just different level with fiba or nba rules
@@nesakysiu12sure there’s talent in the nba but smaller court could change things around
@@Pwlkwl i dont see how KD, Steph, or other superstar would strugle in smaller court I think if you are great you are great anywhere
@@nesakysiu12 No doubt, individual level is on another level in NBA, but gladly basketball is a team game.
Wether it's football, hockey or basketball, it's in European DNA to maximize their collective performance better when players are playing for their countries, especially comparing to USA.
In world cup of 2023 USA finished fourth, so isn't slight underachievement, considering their overwhelming indivual ability? Some best Europeans were also missing from their national rosters.
@@imulippo5245 now you are being casual basketball fan all games between nba and euroleague was during nba preaseason and stars play limited minutes. Second you understand that germany squad in fibawc had 8 nba players i think and main guys in other teams were also from nba. Personally I like euroleague more but stop disrespecting Nba saying that they dont play defence of team basketball just watch playoff then games matter. The majority of euroleague players are nba rejects mike james, nunn, tavares dominates in euroleague and cant even get role in nba
wow i like giving the assists if the receiving player makes at least 1 free throw!
It only applies if you make the first out of the 2 (or three) free throws
well now that doesn't make any sense! so miss the first make the second no assist?@@LuckyBi7ch
Wait, how did 20 assists account for 49 points if he only scored 11? hmmmmm
2️⃣0️⃣🙉🙉🔥🔥
Shesh... Just show recap
