Nela is our diamond at the royal ballet. Incredible in every way. She is a great actress and doesnt need to exaggerate steps or facial expressions to prove her talent. Wonderful cheeky smile. I adore her.

Thanks God for the Mariinsky theater but what I’m trying to say is that is not pure Russia piece. 1) the swan lake is not an original Russian history, it is an adaptation of a German Tale 2) the ballet meet his grace due to Petipa that fixed to what the Russian choreographer at Bolshoi did. Don’t get me wrong I’m a big fan of st Petersburg ballet in general. I do believe Vaganova is the best school existing. And Yes Tchaikovsky was a genius!

@@paulamolinamir it does not matter what the tale served as the base for libretto of the Swan Lake. This ballet is pure Russian story, I am sure, because it transmits the spirit, the soul of Russian people.
