SMT Digital Devil Saga 2 Optional Boss: Seth

- Didn't see this fight up on youtube anywhere so I thought I'd toss it up here. Seth is in my opinion the easiest of the optional bosses, as long as you know what your doing that is, he doesn't really have any attacks that can just wipe you out so long as you have high HP. His weakness is bullets, which is odd so just having Seraph blasting away was my main source of damage.

This game is good, underrated, and one pf my most favorite games on the PS2. And because it is SMT, it holds memorable music in my heart. Great games, and also, nice job on the boss. Keep making awesome video's.

Schrodinger calls Seraph a "perfect being", implicating her status of being neither gender. Seraph's Atma form, Ardha, also comes from the combination of the Hindu deities Shiva (male) and Parvati (female) .

how is it that seraph can use (her?) prana beam twice? is there a special ring for that?
@fromstart2finish i guess it's because a different art style gave a different feel. this one, in my opinion, was a bit darker and grittier, so it has the sterile and cold feel to it. persona 3 and 4 were more cheerful and colorful games in general so their art style reflected that.
He might have actually taken out God.If I recall correctly(it's been a while since I last played) the true demon ending stopped just as hitoshura was getting ready to lead the fight against God.As far as I recall,there's no way of knowing whether or not he was victorious.

I think being down to three Characters instead of four on battles already puts you on a massive disadvantage due to the amount of stuff you have to juggle and it only gets tougher from there.
@@Mageman17 i agree, though being limited into bringing only three can actually be a blessing on its own, since you only need to focus on fewer characters
How do you get Seraph to act twice?
they definitely don't use Seth as much as they should, Loki seems to get all the love.
My god, I hated this friggen boss. Because of all his attacks beating the crap out of me. I still pulled through though. Still haven't beaten this game however.

Thug!!! He fucked me up the first time till I saw this I wad using ragnarok to lower his d while doing the same thing u did with charge and the ring I just didn't give serph the ring to attack twice and revert cuz I dint kno his weakness...I put up a good fight tho
Why does Seraph get two turns after using Prana Beam. I now it's super effective gives an extra turn overall but why does Seraph get the chance to immediately attack again instead of moving on to the next fighter?
Dual Ring gives the character two turns.
I'm curious if you ever get some kind of hint that would ever make you think to Revert on purpose. Not just with anybody, but ONE specific character only because their single human attack becomes your greatest asset.
+UltimaKeyMaster You do get a hint if you think a little. All birds/flying enemies are weak to gun in DDS. You discover that by...fighting normal battles. Seth is flying, so why not try to shoot him?
Bruno Silva That would kinda make sense, but the only way I would ever figure that out is if I didn't bother to transform after an ambush forces me to waste a turn being human.

@OmegaChosen0 I still think Hitoshura would still winn because he can take out Dante and every freaking god and important being of mythology except God himself (and beats up the devil for a while in the True Demon path).

I do agree that Ardha is more masculine looking, but it's just the crotch that really sticks out--and Varna has a giant crotch compared to Serph's human form, so that makes sense even with the androgyny of Seraph's design.
Uh... no. Did you play this game? Seraph is 50% male and 50% female. Their voice is female because the two characters minds haven't completely become one yet, but will eventually, it's explained in game (and having just beat it a moment ago you get to hear Seraph with both female and male voices).
Seraph was pretty hot. I mean, she.. he... it... has both parts. Which is kinda cool.

Nope. The legs are definitely masculine, and if you look at Seraph's art, you can see lots of other masculine features, specifically around the torso/legs. That muscle definition? Also, it's stated IN-GAME. I don't think that can be argued. The other Seraph seen at the end of the game with a more male voice looks EXACTLY. The same. At this point in time, their bodies had not merged completely, so only Sera's voice was dominant.

On Seraph's artwork, you can see the distinct curve usually reserved for females even while standing prone. Her body proportions also shows a larger abdomen, not muscle definition. There is also the rather funny attribute where their voices stay the same regardless of whether or not they are transformed (Ardha never says anything). With that said, you're going to have to give textual examples if you want to back up what you said.

Seraph's a girl. Her voice actress is Wendee Lee, although, she's still a silent protagonist.
Actually, the split here is kind of funny. Seraph is the female. ARDHA is the male. (Notice Seraph has breasts, a feminine face and pronounced thighs while Ardha has a hefty muscular chest and a lower package region). This embodies the more compassionate and grounded female to the more active and warlike male attributes.
