- Saluttttt everyone :) Voilà today I am sharing with you one of my favorite places in Paris .... drumroll my apartment! I am so happy to share with you my first Paris apartment (and hopefully not the last).
About me:
My name is Kristin and I have been living in France on and off for about 5 years. Between studying abroad, teaching english in France and now an internship, I have fallen in love with so many parts of this culture. I enjoy reading, journaling and self-discovery and connecting with others. This channel is still in its baby moments but I hope to share my thoughts, feelings and experiences living and working in France as well as some of what life is like s a 20 something who is trying to figure out life.

I love this because its real! Usually, when they show their apartment they have nothing, its like an empty minimal room and I wonder where are their things?? They dont clean? They dont cook? They dont have personal things?? It's a tiny place but you are in Paris! Of course I am jealous!!
Thank you so much! Yes, definitely a "real" apartment tour, things in every nook and cranny. Sending love from Paris!
Without further ado
I love your space…it’s yours alone….that’s worth everything… I adore Paris….I go every year…hope you are having a blast …love from Ireland 😀
I honestly love your place well organised and real and managing things greatly
Thank you for sharing your space! I loved the tour and find the space so interesting. You have made it your own and have a grateful attitude which is what counts. Wishing you well on all future endeavors!
No problem! It was so fun making this video :) thanks for the well wishes!
Still here since 25 followers but live in the US not a celebrity but still hope you will actually do some of these for your supporters from here. Graham continues to be such a wonderful dyi talent. TFS AG and team!
Safe, autonomous and free. Time to live and do what you want, make a lot of sense. Not a lot to clean, take care or fix. 👍 With minimalism and designed 4 tiny spaces, like boat... 💐Can get even better🧿 Thanks 4 sharing🛩️
God bless you..❤️. I wouldn't last more then a few days living there... One of my favorite cities...
Interesting video! This is the same layout as the single dorms at my college in the US but minus the shower (also down the hall with shared toilets). And who knows how much those cost haha so yours doesn't seem too bad for Paris!
Thank you! Yes, very very similar to what I had in college. Honestly more spacious haha.
tiny, but normal in Paris and you have your own space
Yes I agree! This is rather normal for Paris. I think it adds to the charm of living in the city :P
Your apartment is so cute. Thank you for doing the tour. I'm curious about rental rules in Paris: as a tenant, are you allowed to paint, use nails on the wall, etc. Thanks
I love this
You are lucky to have a shower and kitchenette in your chambre de bonne! Years ago I stayed with a friend in one and she had both the toilet and shower down the hall, and no way to cook at all. As a plus point, she was directly opposite the Jardin de Luxembourg;-))
Wow that is almost like me ☺️
Beautiful. I would have to have the toilet in my room instead of the shower x
Agree 100% … if someone else cleans the bathroom, it’s totally okay to walk down the hall to get there.
Love this video! But if you have a laundry machine, why do you go to the laundrymat?
👍👍
I luv French apartments
friend!bravo,epic, see ya!, =)
Hey i wanna know what websites you used for booking this room.
Some friends who live in Paris also have the toilet down the hall and honestly it's not bad. They have to clean it but they only share it with another tenant. How can you fight the heat because it's too hot in France since June or July.
Oh yes I can't live without my electric kettle.
I agree it’s not too bad at all 🙂
Pesto Rosso 🔥🔥🔥
Hiii Kristin, I am also moving to Paris in August and this video makes me so exited for it even more! Can I ask you how old you are?
Hi Ana!! SO excited to hear about your upcoming move. I turned 26 in March. This video was filmed last year when I was 25! If you have anymore questions, don’t hesitate to reach out on my Instagram 🫶🏼 sending good vibes for the move!!
@@kristinehlert oh wow thanks for the quick response! Woww, you seem much more mature than your age! Thank youu!:) I'll come back if I have any questions! Probably I will, I am binge watching your videos rn lol
@@anamaria-db7pq you are so sweet 🥺 hehe thank you!! Excited to have you here 🫶🏼
How many square metres is your place? Mine is 60 in the medieval centre of Utrecht
It was about 11 m2!
that's kind remarkable you got a washing machine in your nook :0
🤢 looked interesting, but motion sickness, too close, too fast 🥴
A crime...
Boring....too long a video was such a large closet you say is an apartment or “nook”.
Thanks for your thoughts Marcia!
I saw that sink at BHV. 🚰
