- Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the Octave Band for their rendition of India's national song 'Vande Mataram' as he visited the northeast on Sunday. PM Modi shared the video on CZcams and called it a 'beautiful rendition.' PM Modi visited Meghalaya and Tripura. Projects worth ₹6,800 crore were among the highlights of his visit. With PM Modi's Sunday visit, the BJP has sounded the poll bugle in the two states. Watch the band's full performance here.
