My entire life I've barely prayed. When I get on track I get my period and after that I get lazy again. It's been months since I prayed and something in me just urged me to search for my problem's solution. Thankfully I came across this video!May Allah make things easier for me and everyone else who has the same problem. I'll work on myself and try my best to improve. Pls pray for me :(
For me I get to pray fajr then get lazy till Maghreb and isha. I want to be consistent to so I looked it up. InshaAllah this helps

My concentration in my salah is one of my biggest problems .sometimes I get irritated with distracted. May allah guide us and strengthen our emaan.
It is a work of shaitan name “khinzab” whose only work is to distract a believer in his prayer. Our prophet SAW advised to start a prayer with “Audu billahi minashaitan nirajim bismillah irrahma nirrahim”. Also if shaitan persists then he advised to spit thrice by looking at ur left shoulder. I do follow this, before every prayer.

I don't know what's wrong with me but everyday I say that I'll start praying and I don't, I can hear the adhan outside then I'll start feeling guilty and still won't go to pray, astaghfirullah may Allah forgive me and make it easy for me to pray 😞.

The thing that helps me is to say the dua before going to the toilet. It gives protection from shaitaan. Stop listening to music. Listen to Quran. :)
Same thing happened with me i felt guilty seeing my sisters praying but one day i just did wudu and prayed asar prayer.

Same here. You don’t have to totally give up music but something you should try is when you are about to listen to it say to yourself “oh I should listen to Quran instead” and if you want to start praying the best thing is not to break the chain of praying. Also, you can start by saying “I’ll only do wudu” then “only one rakat” then on until you are doing more salah and best thing is to start praying more and more like one salah per day, then two, then three, and so on it will get easier over time you just have to get it in your head . For me it’s annoying that I only sometimes remember to pray at night in bed 😂 May Allah be with you 💕

My consistency with Salah is terrible. I've gone weeks without praying, sometimes even months and I feel bad.
EDIT: 2+ years later I'm improving immensely thanks to the help of Allah (SWT) and the prayers some of you made for me!

I’m 18 almost 19 and get distracted very easily, I started reading Salah 7 months ago and I’m autistic, I struggle with Namaz but when my room is free and my brother isn’t there, I pray and I feel better, even though I’m autistic I know that there’s no excuse for missing prayer, I try my best with everything, I serve my parents and keep them happy, I always help give them hope and tell them lots of interesting things about our beloved Prophet Muhammad S.A.W and his companions, they learn things that they didn’t know sometimes and I’m happy that they are happy with how am I am and it’s all down to the Almighty Allah, Thank you Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala and please forgive the entire ummah and bless the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W and give them the highest Jannah

But thing is, u shldnt pray too fast or too slow. There has to be a balance.

Thanks for the words. For me I kept postponing it because I didn’t fully understand or was able to recite parts of the prayer. But Allhamduillah with aid from videos I’ve got it.
I was struggling to go to salah because of my immense laziness, however I will definitely try from now on not to miss a single rakat. Please pray for me. Allah may keep all of us in the right track.

I was born a Muslim and didn't pray for 40 years, lived as I thought it was right, only sometimes thought of Allah and I thought everything was right.
Suddenly and just like that, I started watching Mufti Menk's videos and suddenly had the desire to learn the surah, to perform the prayer and since then I have been fasting for the entire fasting month of Ramadan.
I am very often tired and Shaitan always whispers diligently in my ears that I should not get up for the Fajr prayer because I am so tired, because I still have to work and need my sleep and all that only makes me stronger in my religion Elhamdulillah.
Now 2 years have passed from the moment I first bowed my head on the ground in Sujud and only now do I realize how much Allah s.w.t loves me and gave me time to find the right path Elhamdulillah.
I will never stop praying as long as I live and I will die like Muslim Inshallah.
Pray for me . I miss alot of Salah and the ones I pray I do it lazily . Make dua for me

Step by step you can do itt start with one prayer & build uppp, one prayer is better than no prayers at all, & remember Allah is the most merciful most forgiving, Allah will continue to forgive you until the day you die so never give up!! You got this!! Surround yourself with people who remind you of Allah :)) I recommend going to jummah prayer or the Friday prayer at the masjid & listen to a lecture

I have been a Muslim since I was born but i stopped practicing when I was a teenager from being distracted by teenage things. Fast forward until i am 29 years old today I hit rock bottom lower than I have ever been and my only hope to get me through it was to surrender to my Higher Power Allah. I struggled to pray 5 times a day and always put myself down for it. And then i said to myself "you know what? Let me give my goal to pray at least once everyday if 5 is difficult for me" and with time i started to pray more and more until today. Yes i miss sometimes, and i feel guilty about it but i tell myself that at least i am trying and am doing much better than i did before and pray for Allah to guide me to the right path and help me keep up with salah

I am 17 years old turning 18 and I’m lazy with my salat I wish I wasn’t I see my family praying and I don’t I pray maybe 1-3 but skip some. I know this isn’t ideal or it is bad. Please pray for me and make dua that my salat becomes stronger ameen ❤️
I had the same problem. And the solution I found was very helpful to me. Lay down on the floor and imagine yourself in grave, without any movement. 2 years, 3 years or probably thousands of years until the day of judgement we all will be sleeping in our graves. Now what is more important to you? worldly things ? Or to prepare yourself for the grave? And secondly the people who are dead, six feet under the earth, they ask Allah SWT for a single chance to be alive again just to make a single sajdah and not to repeat the mistakes the already did in dunya. But their time is up. And us? We still have time. We're still on the earth. We have to prepay ourselves for the day of judgement to save ourselves from the hellfire. Hope this helps.

My brothers and sisters, I have a problem with lazyness, and frequently miss my prayers. Right now, my grandfather is in critical condition, he got sick with corona, which led to sn infection to the lungs, and then several blood clots. Alhamdulilah, he is still hanging in there, but it seems everyday a new problem with his body comes up, I found out today that he just got malaria. I am trying my best to fix my habits and pray consistently, please, remember my grandfather in your prayers, and I will pray for those who are helping him survive. Alhamdulilah, all praise is to Allah, the most Generous, the most Merciful. Thank you all.
May Allah make you steadfast in your prayers, may He keep you on the straight path and may He make it easy for you to stand in prayer, bow down in rukoo’ and prostrate in sujood.

The problem I personally encountered with salat in the past was that it was more of a task rather than a CHANCE to get closer to Allah and strengthen my eman.
I made a lot of duas where I asked Allah to strengthen my eman and bring me closer to Him (swt). Al hamdoulillah I was able to get myself together and now I get up to pray as soon as my phone sets off for each of the prayers.
MashaAllah that's really great. Pls share how you wake up for fajr since I try to but can't as its very cold and the water is cold and also I stay up kate due to school work and exams.

رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَٰتِ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينِ ﴿٩٧﴾ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ
Rabbi aʿūdhu bika min hamazātish-shayāṭīn wa aʿūdhu bika rabbi ay-yaḥḍurūn
{My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the urgings of the devils. And I seek refuge with You, my Lord, lest they become present.}

You can also do tayamum. You dont have to do wudu or ghusl.

Do lots os Dkhir and thrash out that Shaitan that's manipulating you. Come on Bro. We all going to meet in Jannah and Party. Be Patient and ask Allah SWT to keep you on the right path. Never divert. And please get Professional help if it gets worse. What sounds better? Eternal torture in a pit with Shaitan or permanent happiness and bliss in Paradise?
Please don't do such act! I request. You might be feeling no one loves you or your worthless or you might be facing really big trouble. But trust me ALLAH LOVES YOU! YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO ALLAH. the problems might be there from Allah to test your trust towards him. Just hang on and keep praying, there are times when I feel no one understands me, but when I pray in salah, I cry to Allah, I feel peace. I truly really belive Allah knows what I'm feeling and Allah feels for me too.
Allah waits for us to seek forgiveness, and he forgives us too. He is the most generous. He loves us like a mother loves her child, actually more than that. WE ALL ARE WORTHY TO ALLAH.
Dear, please hang on, trust Allah, pray to him. Allah knows, Allah feels your pain, He's seeing you struggling, if you keep your patience and trust on him he'll definitely reward you.

You can pray 5 times a day, I believe in you!! Step by step you can do itt start with one prayer & build uppp, one prayer is better than no prayers at all, & remember Allah is the most merciful most forgiving, Allah will continue to forgive you until the day you die so never give up!! You got this!! I’ve been inconsistent too but we have to try our best & never give up
Whenever i try to concentrate in salah my mind diverts to the things i love what should i do? May Allah SWT forgive me .. I love Allah SWT 😔
There is a really good book called developing khushu in the prayer which really helped me

I find it so difficult to pray on time and sometimes I end up skipping them and then when I do pray I ask Allah for forgiveness and say that I’ll try but I still find it hard. I want to start praying regularly. May Allah make it easier for me. Ameen.

For me I’m learning getting comfortable praying outside because at home it’s so comfortable. I feel worried praying outside because I’m not use to praying in front of everyone. Alhamdulillah I still pray outside no matter how worried I feel because as Mufti Uncle said that’s the Shaitan. So In Sha Allah I get better praying outside 😊♥️

Hello sheikh Mufti Menk so I have a question so I've been doing dua for my friends that allah guides them and 1 of them became guided alhamdulilah and he's praying all his prayers so is it sadaka jariyah? Because I asked Allah to guide them.
Edit : not sadaka jariyah but like if you make a person become Muslim like u get hasanat for every good thing they do so im asking if it's similar to that
