Blairsville, Georgia is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. Blairsville is a beautiful mountain town with many local sights such as the old courthouse downtown.The Union County Schools are the home of the Panthers. Blairsville has the highest point in Georgia, Brasstown Bald, which is fun to hike up. You can also access the Appalachian Trail from Blairsville. Vogel State Park is popular place where you can swim, camp, and much more. Helton Creek Falls are beautiful and a great place to spend an afternoon. You can swim and fish in the waters of Lake Nottely or go drive across Lake Nottely Dam. Golfing is also popular at Butternut Creek and the Old Union Golf Course. Blairsville, Georgia is a wonderful place to visit and live.

@@chelseawho7221 It does! Two decent snows both years that I lived there. I was able to experience the coldest outside temp I've ever felt at 3F one january night. Plenty of deer, squirrels and birds. Never saw a bear, did see one coyote.
